I used to be really unlucky and get shot in the balls so often untill i got a cup. (ignore my sig.) Well i still get shot their just as often just doesnt hurt.

Ive seen grown men get shot, fall over and cry for 10 minuetes after been shot in the goolies. Its a sad sight.

cups are very very helpful. you dont want a little ball going 200mph hitting you there.

Try getting a martial arts cup. They are easier to run and jump in, less bulky, covered in a nice fake leather, and don't have a seperate strap.

Do what I do. Wear Boxer briefs, grab a 1'x2' green towel, fold in in half long ways, stuff one end in your boxers under the boys, allow the other half to hang out of your pants infront of you. Makes a usefull rag.

All layers included, you have 6 layers of protection. Just make sure it keeps in place. I hate regular cups and lets face it, they dont hold 100% of it. At least the ones I have seen.

Never heard of the martial arts one.

Towel works well enough for me.

Just stuff a giant cucumber down there. It's great protection, keeps you nice and cool, and you'll get more dates.
