back up

anyone carry a pistol as a back up onto the field? like...i heard you were allowed to carry a pistol onto the field. i think it'll be pretty cool to carry a pgp or a pt enforcer onto the field....and while someone has the gun pointed at you..and your out of ammo....u bust out the gun...and u bust a ball on his ugly looking mask. hehe...do any of you?

I never use a sidearm. It might be "legal" to carry one in rec ball, but is not allowed in most major tournaments.

I carry a Pt enforcer when playing rec ball and it has come in handy at times.

never carried a side arm although I guess in the worst possible scenario it might be useful....

thats one of the main reasons why I play rec. There's no limit to how many 'guns you can carry, and you can get really large scale games. You also see more crazy stuff people come up with.

I very rarely have a gun failure on the field. i would rather carry extra paint than an extra gun.

i used to sidecarry a jakal, but it just got in the way. with my cocker, i dont need a backup

I don't see what good that 10 extra rounds of paint in a PT or PGP are going to do you when someone has you pinned and your gun fails. Odds are your pretty screwed at that point anyway. I have played in PT only games... That was alot of fun...kinda a mix between Stock class, and semi play.
