Didn't know if it should've gone in the custom mods forum, but meh. Is it worth doing? Is there much of a difference, or should i try something else to lighten the trigger pull?

Have you tried the rubber band mod? Trigger jobs are sweet . The Ultimate Sticky has step by step instructions. ;) .

don't do it I did and it screwed up my velocity. It does give you lighter pull but it is not worth it to mess up your velocity so it is spiking all over the place.

Well you did it wrong. I know plenty of people that have no promblem with velocity.

While one the subject of this...I don't know if it was here or PBNation, but they were talking about a mod where you put like a piece of a Q-Tip in your trigger spring, and it lightens it. And something about putting cardboard on your power tube above your trigger...

Anyone hear about those mods?

Go to model98.net (http://www.model98.net) and do some of the stuff there.

I need to clear up a few things in here.

Any trigger spring mod will NOT lower your velocity. Wherever you heard that, slap them.

As for the Q-tip mod: don't do it.

I compeletly removed my trigger spring on my Tippy and can get up to 11 bps with an Empire Reloader hopper, but just be careful because the safety can not be turned on unless the trigger is all the way forward

thank you tura :D , (turns and slaps bassplayr) i would definetly recommend going to model 98.net to check out some of those mods, but they take some playing around with to get them working correcly. so if you got some spare time and a little bit of patience you can get them to work really nice.

If you put the ball latch in backwards..that has nothing to do with the actual mod. That's just people not knowing how to put their gun back together.
