View Full Version : CP 2 Piece prob..

For any one here that owns a CP 2 piece can you help me out? I just got mine last Wednesday and as soon as I pulled it out of the box I looked down the front, I noticed it looked like there was some dirt in the front of it by the porting. I still went out and used it that day and only broke one ball and I'm not even sure if that was a gun or barrel break. Today I went out and shot it and broke one, and I know for a fact it broke right in the front of the barrel. I've ran water through it two times already today trying to get that stuff out... when you look down the barrel from the back when you get to the porting it's not shiny at all anymore and looks all f-ed up, but when you look down it from the very front the back is shiny and clean looking... are they supposed to look like this or did I get a bad front?

EDIT: Could anyone with this barrel please tell me if their's looks this way because I want to call up CP or pbgear tommorow and see if I can get it replaced..

Although I can't tell you for sure if it's messed up unless I saw it in person, I can tell you that the barrel front should not be dull. My experience with PBGear's customer service have always been good. Call them up and I'm sure they can work something out.

I have a CP 2 piece also and it's perfect no matter what I look at it.

I called up CP and told them and they said to just send it to them and they'll give me a new one.. :)

Yup, I love CP's customer service. Most likely you will need to send in your tip and they will send you a new one.

That's what I'm doing...

For anyone that orders off Pbgear and needs to return something.. don't even bother calling them, just call the company. Pbgear always gives me a hard time about it but Crossman (E-Rex pro), Lapco and CP all took back things that didn't work or was wrong and just gave me a new one.
