Is a Nitrogen/High Pressure Kit really necessary on a M98?

I was thinking about getting a Nitrogen/HPA tank sometime in the near future, when I came across this on the tippmann website, a high pressure/nitrogen conversion kit:

I was wondering if anyone had any experience running nitrogen/hpa on their 98 without the above mentioned kit.
