Im kinda a newb on this subject, so bear with me...

I was thinking about either doing anti-siphon or have a reg for my A-5. Most people (at least thats what i think) would prefer anti-siphon, but i have 3 tanks, and they are relatively small (12 oz) and since i like to play long scenario games, id prob. have to give them all anti-siphons. Would it be cheaper/better to get my 3 tanks anti-siphoned, or just get a regulator or somethin?

Id figure id ask this, since its slightly different then most anit-siphon/reg/etc. questions

A/s is about $7 apiece, it keeps liquid CO2 from entering the marker. A reg is about $100 and keeps the pressure constant. Get both.

A reg isn't about 100$, they are more like around 60-70$.

A Palmer Stab. is close to 100, maybe like 90. You would need the A/S for the reg, reg's don't like liquid CO2.

exactly, regs are 60-70 and A/S is 15 max

Yes, get both, they've made life a little better in the air department.

Hold on now. It may be cheaper for you to just buy an expansion chamber (which performs the same function as an A/S). A good one runs at most around ~$50. I got my sub zero for about $40.

A word of caution: Have a qualified airsmith install the anti-siphon. There has already been two fatalities from poorly installed anti-siphoning valves. They tend to take off like rockets, and if they strike somebody, it can be devastating. So no do-it-yourselfers for this one.

dont waste money on an expansion chamber when anti siphon is cheaper, and the expansion takes the place of the reg. get anti siphon and a reg at the same time. if you are going to get one before the other, get the anti siphon first, otherwise liquid co2 will damage the reg.
