Ok I really want to get a ghillie suit but really dont know how going about to get one. Now at rangerjoe.com they have a nice ghillie suit kit. The bad thing is that it is only a poncho style so it only goes to your knees. I heard a poncho style one can be good beacuse if you have a full body one the knees and such will need repair sooner or later. Dispit this i still want a full body one. Now the good thing about the rangerjoe.com kit is it comes with 8 diffrent colors of burlap and it looks really easy to make and it cheap at only $60.

Now if i make a homemade ghilli suit i can make it a full body. The bad is im stuck with one stinking color of burlap(camo color). I could always dye the burlap but i dont want to mess with that.

So what do you guys think. Does the burlap poncho work just as good as the full body. Any input is glady apprecaited.
Thanks

go search for a thread called "camo" or something like that. It has about 200 or so post, it has tons of info on ghillie suits and how to make them.

or you could email electric head. he started to build one (from that thread) he has only the legs done though, mabye you could buy it off of him. but dying should be easy

do the full body.

I cant find "camo" anywhere. THIS IS REALLY REALLY FRUSTRATING, ive been at this stupid search thing for half a hour and its giving me every thing but threads with the word camo in it. I dont know what the problem is!!!
