i successfully finished installing my vert adapter on my 98c. i am just not sure about a few things...

is it possible that i would have touched (or lost) the
valve external o-ring (thats what tippmann manual calls it i think).. i did not see this o-ring and just assumed that its somewhere in the valve.. I looked around pretty thoroughly, and did not find it, so i am assuming that it did not come off (is it inside the power tube plastic?)

after re-assembling the marker, i was left with what looks like a rubber cap.. it looks very similar to a tire valve cap.. i did not see this in the tippmann diagram so i did not know where it goes.

what does the ball latch do? i placed it as shown in the diagram but it seems like it doesn't serve any use..?

The ball latch is a ball detent. It keeps balls from double feeding. The external o ring is actually an internal one so you did not lose that. About the rubber cap, I am not sure...............

you'll find out real quick if you put the ball latch in incorrectly.

I couldn't think of it. Yes, the rubber cap goes on the end of the cocking handle. The ball latch should face towards the barrel. Meaning the rubber part should point out towards the barrel.
