really it depends on the paint you are using. If you use medium bore paint (Zap, RP Big Ball, RP Premium, Diablo Midnight, 32 Degrees, etc.). Then both to a degree will be about the same.

also depends on how happy you are with the performance of your stock barrel. If you paid less than $200 for your gun chances are the stock barrel is not that good.

i kind of agree with mr. bunny, i have a ceramic and an aa and the aa is better

then again, i got the ceramic first and it was pretty good compared to my stock rebel deluxe barrel, and the all american was like comparing the ceramic to my stock barrel.

so in the end if you can afford the all american get it because its a high end barrel unlike the ceramic

i still use the ceramic when i have $hit paint as to not have to squeegy the aa

the aa is much quieter also i wish i had just bought it and not the ceramic first because now i don't need the ceramic

i have the stainless steel aa and its better than the aluminum but about 2 times heavier. works good with a 9 oz tank but with my 20 its really heavy

either way i still use it over the ceramic

hope this helps
