First and foremost you need to check a couple of things.

Without the marker gassed up turn the reloader on and let it feed a ball into his KO.

Now look down the front of the barrel does it have two balls in the breech???

Usually the Reloader will double feed a KO due to the single oring detent it uses. This can be cured by putting a piece of macro hose in the center of the oring.

If this doesnt help then let us know.

he did the macro mod, but put part of a pencil eraser instead. So i dont think its a double feeding problem.

its probably just the fact that the hopper is too slow. Buy at least an evo 2. I havent chopped once after i got mine.

AWWWWWW I see.

Ok then the next thing we need to do is gas the marker up and leave the hopper off. Note the position of the bolt. Does it completely clear the feed tube??? If it does cycle the marker several times and check the bolt location again. Is it still clearings the feed tube???

Another possible problem could be the bolt is to short allowing the ball to be pushed back behind the breech allowing another ball to be partially feed into the breech. To check for this put your hopper on the marker and cycle it. Note when a ball breaks and stop immediately. Remove the hopper and inspect the breech. If you had a misfeed ball due to a short bolt you should see chopped ball now lying in the breech of the marker.

Final thing I can think of checking is your bolt. Make sure the bolt itself is nice and smooth with no burrs on the face of it. Sometimes a bolt gets out of the factory with a sharp edge on it that will cut through a ball.

Check these things out and let us know what you come up with.

he has a blind bolt right? I had a problem like this with mine. The front of the bolt was too long, so with large bore paint it wouldnt drop all the way into the chamber because the bolt was in the way. This caused it to chop and skip shots, despite my Halo. I just took some sandpaper and carefully sanded down the front end of the blind bolt a little bit so its shorter and it works fine now.

Before you do that, take off the hopper and just drop a paintball into the feedtube. See if it falls all the way into the chamber or if the bolt is in the way. That'll tell you whether or not you need to sand the bolt.
