Can the Low pressure system for the model 98 be used with CO2? I was thinking it would work kinda like a low pressure chamber for a spyder considering it comes with a low pressure chamber.

It is not recommended. THe parts that they install are meant to be used with nitrogen. I wouldn't want to ruin the parts by using co2. If you want to stay with CO2 you should buy a palmer stabilzer or a stock autococker reg and put that on.

If I bought the palmer stabilizer should I buy the vertical adapter with expansion chamber or just the vertical adapter? Is there another way to rig up the palmer to the model 98 cuz the male one is the most expensive.

Just purchase the vertical adapter. Here is what you can do, you can purchase a female palmer stablizer and put it right where the ASA is. However, with this setup I would recommend an anti-siphon tank. The choice is yours. You can pick whichever one you would like.

Can you still install a guage on the female? I think that it is only possible with the male and direct.

There really wouldn't be any reason to install a guage. Plus you would have to purchase a high pressure gauge and they don't work well with CO2. You can find the exact specs at palmerpursuit.com

Palmer sells a guage for their regs. But, correct me if I'm wrong, I found out all you need to set a reg is a chrono.
