first im going to play a few rental games to make sure i like paintballing buy how does this look as for gear:

Watup, I just recently purchased from that site. Good company, good prices and fast shipping.

Only thing I would suggest is instead of buying the Hopper, Tank, and mask seperatly I would get "Package C", Which includes a Hopper, 20oz, A JT NForcer(very comfy mask) and a 4+harness pack with fatboy tubes. Its 90 bucks and cheaper than buying everything seperate.

I would also go with a 12 or 14 inch barrel instead of a 16.

actually i think everything seperate is cheaper....keep in mind 50 dollars of the 250 is coming from the paintballs....also i dunno if i want the tubes and stuff....i would like em but i dunno if i need them....or maybe i could go ghetto and use home made crap rofl

also im having trouble because people online saay 14" because balls dont break

and other people say 16" because its more accurate.... meh

Responses to good-in order

1. Get the tank anti siphoned as soon as you get it
2. Make sure you clean it and oil it. Its a tank, but even tanks need maintenence
3. I would recomend an electronic hopper over a vl200. Its not a requirement, but it helps. I would recomend an empire reloader.

draxxus makes very nice paint, just about every field uses Draxxus Field

you dont need the revolution hopper unless ur thinking about getting a RT Trigger, or plan on going electronic soon.

u dont really need the anti siphoned either, but u will need it if u plan on using CO2 on a Impulse, or Shocker. id recommend getting a better mask such as a JT Flex (mask you will have for the longest time of your pballing carrer gun and everything else u wont). instead of buying the case of paint, buy a new barrel, i would suggest a J&J Ceramic 14"

get a spyder victor instead. it'll perform the same as a tippmann, and it'll leave you an extra $80-$100 for upgrades.

Sorry V1, you're wrong on that one. A revvy is needed for pretty much any semi these days. Most beginner guns work off of blowback. It'll bobble the balls in a semi-auto and is very easy to chop with a stock Tippy. Only guns that don't need a loader are pumps. Besides, I hate having to shake a rental every 20 seconds to get a ball to feed because of a neck jam. Another problem any motorized loader takes care of.
I would say he probably doesn't need the anti-siphon unless he's playing in a cold environment or shoots a lot. And I would say your barrel reccomendation is pretty good. ugly as sin barrel, but a good one.
Spyderman has the right idea with the Spyder I think. That's just me. Read the sticky at top for dirt on the Spyder and the Tippmann.

Anti Siphon is a hose connected inside of your Co2 tank that helps prevent liquid Co2 from getting inside your gun. Normally you either A) buy the tank already A/S'd or B) go to a proshop and have someone there do it since obv. you dont want to mess it up. Around here it costs 10-15$ to get a tank A/S'd .

And for cheap paintballs that are high quality it depends. Some people have had bad experiences online and wont order paintballs from their while others said that they had maybe two breaks in teh bunch. Draxxus is a good choice along with almost anything PMI. I tend to use marbs, occasionally evil, or w/e. (has anybody shot these "mdievil" paintballs. were they good? bad?) A word of advice since your new, NEVER use Blue Streak.

Draxxus and PMI.
Viper Venoms are good too, but are also very thick shelled. Fresh, they are thick and brittle and generally awesome. Not fresh, and you can hit a brick wall and get a bounce.


Rules to life about paint:

Walmart paint sucks.
Walmart paint really sucks.
Don't buy Wal Mart paint.

If you do have to buy Wal-Mart paint, buy Dusk, make sure it's fresh and unbroken.

But Wal-mart paint sucks.

hmmm im having a really tough time deciding between spyder and tippmann

btw this is mostly for speedball but also a little woodball

i kinda want to get spyder imagine with a 12volt revvy and custom products barrel but i dunno if i can afford it...

if u want speedball, just rule out the tippmann right now, unless ur putting like a RT or something along the lines of that. you need something that will put some paint down

(i never needed a revy on my tippmann, i didnt load it till nothing would fit, even with a revy, if u load that so nothing else will fit, and theres no room, the rotar will jam)


check ebay, they have new stuff going off for pretty good deals

loose the 2 energizers, u dont need them, unless u want them for like walkie talkies or something, the battery in the image is a rechargable one

Yeah what he said about the batteries. you wont really need them. And that is a very nice setup. But since you said this is mostly for speedball you probobly would want to get a harness and pods.

how much money do you have to spend? becuase if you have some money to spend and think your really gunna stick with the sport i say go ICD BKO 2004 because lets face it, you buy the spyder with all the crap, then you go man i really like the sport i want a better gun, you arnt gunna sell that spyder too easly, plus your gunna play speedball and that bushmaster is gunna be alot faster then the spyder.

say bushmaster is 300, plus a 48/3k tank 70$, plus the hopper 40$, like a little over 400, but if you want to get a deal look in the trader forums for really good deals, and always makesure that the person is legit, and if you need help with that PM someone experianced with tradeing like myself or a mod.

just, my 2 cents, also you prolly wont need a pack and pods right away if your just gunna play rec speedball.

are they the same? cause the GTI seems to look alot better and looks like its vertical thingy is metal as uposed to the spyder's is amde of plastic but im not sure....thx for the help though....plus spyders have wierd drop forwards : /

i would look into used guns. you could find an imagine used with everything and upgrades for 250 ish. buy a case of paint and have a few ups on it.
