Does anyone know if there is a Pump conversion kit for the 98 custom? I know there are ones for the Autococker (obviously) and I was suprised to hear that there was one for the Automag.

No, there is no off the shelf conversion kit for the m98 due to its clamshell design. Making the M98 a pump gun would require drilling into the clamshell.

1) why would you wanna convert to pump? and 2) Autocockers work almost 100% differently than tippmanns...

I know cockers work entirely different than M98s, I also know they work they are still pumps at heart but the front block does the pumping. I was just making examples, The automag suprised me though, I didnt even know it could be done, so i figured maybe they have a pump conversion for M98s. Also to answer your question why I would want to convert to pump, why would anyone? Why would members of Iron men throw a pump conversion kit on to their cockers? They just do, and I like pumps but I also like Model 98's. I was thinking about buying a sterling or a sniper 2 (the cocker pump) but I just wanted to know if it was possible.

Converting a Model 98 to a pump is like saying you love your Harley so much you want to turn it into a car with 4 wheels.
You should purchase a good pump gun. I have a Kingman Hammer (with a JJ Ceramic for a Spyder) that I use regularly against semi-autos. There are other very good models for under 100 (please please please stay away from the Brass Eagle plastic guns.)
