Does anyone know where I can get just the Vertical Adapter that fits a Viewloader Orion. I want to add an expansion chamber but I dont want to buy the Viewloader Expansion Chamber Kit. They show the part on the exploded view of the VL Maxis but dont have a part number or anything. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

bchamp, oo u dissed him oooOOOO!! lol haha
well not really, spyder wasnt giving u financial advice. he was pointing out that ur POS BE orion isn't worth a vertical adaptor. hes sayin that u should get a great spyder gun that has a good name not a crappy name that make all the other medeocre names laugh. dont get me wrong, BE laughs too, but only in embarassment. and i havent found a single vert adapt. that u can buy by itself, just shows how BE works.
I recomend for u a......Spyder Victor II, assault block and a new barrel, better in the short run and later u can get an ESP frame or sumthin.

Same web site I think you're looking at has the adapter for about $13. Check to make sure you order the right threads on the adapter. I get a kick outa how people that don't have a dog in the fight are always barking. LOL

First of all I would like to thank skx762 for actually helping me and not trying to persuade me to buy another gun. To all of you Spyder fans- I like spyders too. I like Tippmanns as well. So, to defend my purchase of a VL Orion: its actually a good gun; and its cheap ($60).I truly wanted a Spyder in the beginning, but no local pb stores would order one for me. So, i went to Wal-Mart and got the Orion. And guess what? I kept my receipt, so if it ever breaks or I stop liking it, I can take it back. I have also owned a Custon 98 with several upgrades. The Orion shoots great in stock form. It doesnt use alot of air, I havent chopped any balls, and I can hit anything I aim at with the 11 inch barrell. I mean, hey, If I upgrade the gun a little and get something a little better later (which I probably will) I can loan the Orion out or give it to my brother. By the way, I also shoot a modified Stingray sometimes.

Bchamp04, thank you for this post! I am also a fan of all three markers. Each has a purpose-- Brass Eagle/Viewloader markers are inexpensive and great for someone who is trying the sport out, Tippmans are the ultimate woodsball marker, and Spyders are excellent for speedball players. And if you're looking for parts, have you tried Ebay? They seem to have everything. Good luck Bchamp! And thanks for having enough sense not to insult other players on their choice of marker or even their financial situation! (i.e. I am WAY too poor to afford a high-end Spyder or even a Tippman right now. My Orion has been a great marker and it will continue to be in my arsenal long after I've moved on to more expensive markers.

Ok, please tell me how a $50 Spyder Victor is expensive when you spend about $50-80 on a VL... You cant put an E-frame on a VL unless its the crappy plastic one at vlproseries.com, I had it on my old Triad, useless.

im sure you did
well all noobs aside, get the vertical adapter, for starters, plus get a good reg in the begginning, itll allow you to use co2 bttr, plus if you get a btrr gun you can always switch it over
next id reccommend the e-grip, yes its a sweet little deal, stock shoots bout id guess 10-12 bps, as fast as my imagine ne ways, but im currently taking electronics/soldering classes with my old tech teacher to attempt a multimode upgrade for the e-grip, ill keep you guys posted
hmmm, the orion also has a delrin bolt upgrade i see, that might be a good investment for air efficiency/less gun wear
of course the 11 inch barrel is a decent above average stock barrel, but id invest in something longer, and quieter, you know wat i mean, that thing has NO porting its like a cannon lol
j&j ceramics a good deal get a 14 inch if you go with that, good all around
next empire reloader
if you do all this, and eventually move up to hpa, like my avenger, your orion will outshoot any tippmann and most spyders ever created, yes even a pimped out to the max tippmann, plus itll be half the cost

Ok, don't call me a noob, you are still using BE and bragging about it. Thats not the point o this post though. Regs aren't a good idea for co2, however they work well for n2. The Palmer stabalizer is the best reg for co2 that I know of. Don't listen to Evo, hes a newb moron. Get an x-chamber if you are going to keep your VL and run it off co2. But you know you can always find a friend that wants to get into paintball and sell him your gun and go get u a good cheap spyder victor. O and all those upgrades u get for the orion are all black and grey and the drop is ghay.
My 2 cents, and Evo, shut up. You cause confusion.

Now I understand what they mean by "mean 04s."
Don't bash BE, they got me into the game. Granted I only used my BE gun once, but I know several people that still use BE after quite a bit. The Orion can compete easily with almost all mechanical spyders.
I think if you're gonna keep the Orion the VA is a good idea, go with it and a good reg. I know Palmers is good for C02 and I think the Torpedo works with C02 also, but don't take my word on that one. An electric hopper really helps, even on a mechanical, but don't get the quantum, it is loud and doesn't feed that much faster than a VL200,
Oh, and don't buy a spyder. Your Orion will do fine to get you into the game and if you keep at it go with something higher like a cocker or impy.

I'm not bashing BE by any means. They just aren't for long term use though I'm sure there are people who use them for quite a while. Why not buy a Spyder? You get a good warrenty, a hella lotta upgrades. BE got me in the game too but you know what, it ruined it for me. Gun breaks down in middle of game and I sit out 3 hours of the day cuz no gun. 50 dollars down the drain. And if your saying you can last a game of speedball again GOOD players with a BE and the e-grip for it, you must be a man. So like I said before get a Spyder...
O and yes a BL torpedo will work with co2, but its recomended to have your tank A/S
Friend has a Spyder Victor with a freak kit, Low rise, Sprint Frame and a BL torpedo reg for sale for 200.

i know im a man, i do it all the time with my avenger (but i bust out the rm 98' wen the going gets rowdy)
well ne ways if you take good care of your gun it will last a long time dude
even a talon
s***, i had my talon up until last year until i tried holding trigger and pumping the gun, well pump handle broke off in my hand lol
unless you get a defective model, your gun will last as long as you
plus be/vl upgrades are cheaper than spyder upgrades, and just as good
