Does it matter if it is an all american or freak front. Im getting the barrel that they sell at smart parts website. And you can choose either freak or all ammercian.

Does it matter wich one or is it just for looks

cost the same 2

Since they both cost the same choose which one you think looks better.

i would choose neither in this situation and look else where for a cheaper and/or better kit.

if you have to though, get a freak front.

Freek though has a huge benefit for someone like me though.

I've got markers with Cocker threads, spyder threads, shocker threads, and automag quick twists.

Instead of needing to get 3 pipe kits ... i need get one freak and 3 or 4 back ends. If I go ahead and get a spare front end or two ... then I can have multiple markers running with the same freak kit.

I still haven't jumped into the freak bandwaggon yet ... They don't have any non-ported barrels. Porting just seems like a waste of space to me. My solid Custom Carbonfiber barrels shoot straighter then All-American, Teardrops, or CP one pieces.

Also more efficient and more manuverable without all that extra space for porting.

Only downside I have is that they are a tad louder the some of the Smart parts barrels. The old smart parts "Venturi" barrels are still the quietest I've shot. Weren't anywhere near the most accurate. but quiet and better then a Classic Stock Spyder Barrel

Almost any kit>Freak.
Go with whatever front you think looks better if you already have a Freak though.

I agree whole heartedly. Try Action Village or XPaintball or somewhere like that to find it cheap.

If you want an insert kit then get a Scepter. It is so much better than the Freak it's sad.

i have a freak jr and i love it, but the one ref at the field i go to all the time said that a sceptor is the best barrel kit there is.

to answer the original question, either front should be fine

He could be talkin about the All American barrel where you can choose the AA or Freak front. Its not a kit, but just the All American back and you can choose between the AA and freak for the front, But i'd have to say Freak
