I'm getting my first shocker "2000 Vert Shocker with Glacier Board" What are some of the problems to watch for?

Don't use Co2. Yes the max-flow can handle it, but I would definitely not recommend putting co2 through your gun.
Just make sure you clean the reg and grease the bolt as per smart parts instruction manual.

No offense Flash, but Smart Parts actually recommends using co2 on Shockers. If you have a anti-syphon then you will have no problem with liquid in the gun. The maxflow has a bleed-off capacity.

Although Smart parts said it was made to run off Co2 I find that it runs a lot better off nitro, as would any gun. But i see more consistent pressures, ans well as less down time waiting for enough pressure to fire again.

Make sure to clean it like it says in the instructions. Use co2 if you have to, but try to use HPA. I looked at it like this:
co2: fine for rec days
HPA: tourney
Have either a Freak set or diff bore barrels. The bore size really makes a difference in performance.
