Strap wrench. or wrap a rubber band around each half then twist em apart.

Have the same problem with my regs all the time. Take two thick towels and wrap both halves of the gas through. Put one half in a vise and use vise grips on the other (or use two pairs of vise grips) and twist. The towels will protect your gas-through from getting scratch but you'll still have enough leverage to get them apart. Good luck!

Put your gun in the freezer. The cold will make the parts shrink, thus making it so you are able to take the pieces apart. I do that when I can't get may barrel off.

as for the gun in the freezer--i dont really think that will work considering metal will constrict w\ lowered temperature:D

i'll stick w\ jaster's towel method!

thanks guys!
