I know I've seen this somewhere, but I've been searched and couldn't find it. What is the best setup for the stock trigger on a b2k4(in your opinion)?

like the pins and screws? or buying a new trigger?

if your talking pins and screws, i like short and sweet, but i shoot a lot so i dont know, mine is the pin is the farthest back, screws in as far it can go, if ou go to far the gun won't shoot duh

I was, basically, just talking about the three screws on the stock trigger.

well you can only screw them in so much, what kinda ball you play?

I know you can only screw them in so much! I meant the setup like for the screw that determines where the switch is actuated, the one that adjusts spring tension, and the one that changes the distance the trigger travels.(i.e. one all the way in, the other halfway, and the last barely in) And I mostly play rec ball, but some speedball. Regardless of what I play, I still want a fast trigger setup.

pivot all the way back

spring tension as light as possible

no pre-travel
a lot of post travel

that seems to work best on most trigger/frames that ive worked with

Thanks, any other opinions? BTW, I'll try that right now, but how do you set the pivot?

I agree totally. Some people hate post travel, but I can't shoot fast without it.

Here is the way I adjust my triggers.

Turn the bottom screw all the way in until the trigger will not move.

Next adjust the top screw until the marker fires.
Once the marker cylces turn the top screw out a eigth to a quarter turn.

From here on out it is kinda personal preferrence (as is most of the above as well)

Next turn the bottom screw out at least one to two full turns or until you have as little or as much post travel as you desire.

Finally adjust the center screw until you have the spring tension set to the weight of trigger pull you desire.

I personally remove the trigger spring or put as little tension on the spring as possible.

By making the trigger sloppy (loose, kinda long, but actuating at the start of the trigger pull) you can walk the trigger and get extra shoots off of the marker because of the trigger literally bouncing of the front of the frame when it returns.

I went from shoot 12-13 bps with a extremely short trigger pull to 15-16 bps by adjusting my triggers as stated above.

I used Sir Stunna Lot's suggestion. Much better than how I had it setup. Thanks.
