Any one got good info about this barrel? we all know abut the inserts so u don't have to talk about that. but can u get a normal freak front on it (it is a two peice barrel) off of actionvillage? the front on it does not look very quiet.

It is compatible with all the freak stuff. It is a cheaper version. I dont know how good it is though.

here is my plan for a good cheap (well...for a insert barrel) barrel. i am going to buy a freak jr.($75), a .687 insert ($20)(this size matches my feild paint), and if i decide i need it, a teardrop front ($45). now i will have a real good barrel for $130! sound good?

well, my friend has one of those and i don't thik it is that good. you have to smash the inserts in pretty hard and the inserts have little black smudges in them for some reason. plus it is very loud. it only has 12 porting holes and the muzzel brake doesn't help. plus the Jr. is cheaper!:D

Your friend must be tiny. The teflon on the equation inserts can get a little rubbed up by ill-care making some dark smudges. And if he has to smash it in is arms must be the size of a stick, just push. Noone gave a bad review to this barrel and there are reviews on the freak barrel system that say equation design is better, also cheaper.

this isnt related to this forum but a kid said that it was pointless buying a freak for a sypder and i beg o differ i have ajn erex pro witch is the same threading and i think it helped with accuracy and sound also if i did but a new gun i would only have to buy a new back for the freak.
