Sublime rocks. What's the song where they say "...and now he takes it in the behind?"
I used to know it, but that was a while ago...

thats how i was when i learned taht Cobain was dead, i was depressed for about a week. but on subject, i remember my brother used to have good taste in music, then he turned into a rapaholic while i stayed true to my roots with Sublime and Nirvana. then i went through a musical questioning period with bands such as blink 182 and green day, luckily they died out of my mind like the thought of my parents doin teh nasty. now im back on track with musical tastes again. :D

Too bad they were another band made by their lead singer's death. If they'd lasted more than a year, they would've turned Blink-182 faster than you can say "sellout."

kinda harsh to compare sublime to blink182.. gimme a break, you just need somethign to whine about, i understand, yeah i love sublime, i remember when i was about 10 my sister had sublime the album and i used to steal it and listen to it all the time, thats when i first fell in love with it, now i listen to them quite often.

same with me sorta, i was raised on this kinda stuff and its weird how in the past few years im just remembering/discovering all these things.
now that being said sublime wouldnt "become a blink 182" which is obvious from the stuff that the rest of the band put out so get over yourself "tool bag"

Yeah, Sublime is right now my favorite band. I like 40 oz to Freedom more than Sublime, but they're both extremely good.
And on this subject - did Brad commit suicide or just OD by accident?

OD by accident, but i might be mistaken.

I think that Sublime is good, but they're not the musical messiahs you treat them as, neither is Nirvana, their good, nothing amazing.

God bless Bradly Nowell's soul, may he rest in peace. Santeria, Wrong way, were only gonna die for our ignorance, under my voodoo, same in the end, 40 ounces to freedom, krs-one... In some respects, there will never be another band that can meet Sublime's level of excellence. A mix of punk and reggae in only a way they could do it. God always takes away the greatest. Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Brad Nowell... Who next? Angus Young? Ozzy? Lets enjoy them while we can.

too bad that you're wrong, buddy.
ever hear of long beach dub allstars? the remaining members of sublime went on to form that band with some other peeps, and they didnt sell out.
then they broke up, and the remaining sublime members reformed to create long beach shortbus. i think theyre coming out with a album soon. its kinda underground. not sellout-ish.
so you are wrong.
greatest hits is an awesome song.
get out remix is amazing too. download it now.
