lets face it you relly can't top a vert feed thats why almost all high end guns with high rof use vert feed

you consider what the model 98 is as a vertical feed right? do all vert. feeds come in on the side, or do some come in from the top?
Thanks,

A vertical feed is just what the name says, I feed that is directly vertical. It has to be the fastest too because the balls are going straight to the chamber and not going through a maze of twisting and turning powerfeeds and elbows.

Centerfeed rocks. Besides feeding paintballs faster, it also makes for a smaller profile.

ok but look people hes talking about air assist now, like warp feeds here. If youre talking that then definately the air assisted because they are capable of feeding up to 20bps. (that is of course with the revvy on it) Im not positive youre talking about warp feeds though.

I'm not 100% sure on this one (twitcho, and TL+, don't bite) but i think that verticle feed was designed for closed bolts and electros, were very little (if any on a cocker) blow back is achived. The power feed as you knowtice on most spyder type guns, has a big/little hole in it, directly lined up with the breech hole. That hole allows blow back to go out it, instead of up the feed tube, which would cause blow back. Now i'm not quite sure why it would be on a shocker, as there is very very very little, if any blow back. The air assist also does not do as much as it's hyped up., and for those of you thinking of putting an air assist on you're vert feed shocker, it doesn't do dittily. on a cobra angel, thats a open bolt, so the bolt it open most of the off time, allowing air to flush into the brech, not up the feed tube such a closed breech like the shocker. the closed breech on a vert shocker would cause more blow back then assist. K, back on topic. Vert feed for Electros, and closed bolts. power feed on blow back-open bolts. It just seems more on physics of the gun design itself.

Actually, that's exactly what I would have said. Blowbacks can let too much air into the feed port, which will actually help in a powerfeed, and be very bad with a vert feed. THat's why you can fine a spyder without a revvy, it's kinda like self agitating, but even try and fire a timmy/bushey/angel/shocker or any other high end gun and the fact that no air goes into the feed tube means the balls jam up instantly. But yeah, as was already said, vert feed is fastest with no blowback, powerfeed with air blowing into the feed tube

Verical feed is the best. with most blow back guns that have a vert feed like my piranha pro, there is no need for a revy. unless u buy the boo-yaah elcd frame which i don't have. the new brass eagle guns are supposed to be vert feed. but it'll probably fall off (no offense to BE owners)
