Ok, I've finally made my decision between two markers. Should I get a 05 Cocker with CO2 and about 100 dollars in upgrade money or should I get a BKO with an anti-siphoned CO2? You guys gotta help me.

Paintball review, recommending BKO's to everyone since 2004.

Does it not matter that I WOULDNT BE USING HPA?

Don't get a Cocker if you're going to have to use CO2. Just get a BKO, it will be faster since you don't have enough money to eblade the Cocker.

I thought I heard that BKO's without HPA isn't a good thing, but I wanted to try anyway.

Get the cocker, I bet half of these people reccomending them haven't had experience with a BKO first hand. My friends crapped out in every situation to the point where he replaced most of the stock parts only to have his solenoid get messed up. I haven't met a person in real life who didn't have a problem with their BKO. It will also run even worse with C02. Unless you get a new reg, after 3 months the internals of the gun will be dirtier then a 2 dollar ho. Please do not buy a BKO. Go for the cocker, just make sure you learn enough about them.

well lemme give u the low down, since i own a bko and a cocker

BKO is a POS, i tried it stock, 100 in upgrades, 500 in ugrades, it STILL DOESNT WORK its a very long story, but mine nevwer worked. I had 2 fried boards w/ it. not 2 mention the tech support blows massive anus. Ive sent my gun in 3 times and thats resulted in about 4 months of away time 4 the gun. IVE ONLY OWNED THE DAMN THING SINCE MID APRIL! K i got the gun it worked great then my board was fried by itself. sent it in, got a new board a month later, i then gassed it up and found i had ball breaks up the bung hole. replaced the regs BOTH REGS AND THE VALVE, costed me lik 175, cp grip reg, hoseless micro rock, and a vapor valve. It worked great 4 one time THEN it crapped out again frying the board. I got a new board from icd and i replavces the trigger frame w/ a zenitram magnetic 1 and i put a BB clamping no rise on it. it worked a bit after that THEN it leaked FROM EVERYWHERE! sent it in and they "accidentl" put pds in when i said ONLY PUT PDS IN IF YOU CALL ME AND I SAY YES, YOU CAN PUT PDS IN. they called, didnt leave a message and i obviously was at skool. skool sux btw, butnot as much as the bko. Well i got the BKO back 4 a tourney and IT LEAKED! yes if damn well LEAKED NOT 2 mention it had uber shootdown AND i had 3 chops outa the 300 balls i put through it. The tourney was august 21 it is now sept 26 and i still havent got my gun back. i sent the gun in the 23 of august btw. thankfully the second the gun comes back, if and when it comes back.

My cocker on the other hand is a 2k1 mech cocker. it OWNS. its more accurate then my bko ever was, more effeicent, and from my experience, its more reliable. bottom line, 4 a mech cocker from 2001, it roxors. iw ish i put the 1000 i put in2 the bko in2 this cocker. i love it. get a cocker time it learn the way of the cocker and how 2 maintain it and i garantee u u will love it. and if you can maintain it, you can fix it whenever u have a probelem.

BOTTOM LINE-
BUY A COCKER-IT CAN RUN ON CO2 w/out pooping out

Also there r 4 bushmaster series guns in my area, 2 2004 extremes, an 03, and a b2k. THEY ALLL HAVE PROBLEMS. noid busted itself on the 03, the other 04 is crapped out and the b2k just stopped working. If icd had tech support that was fast and reliable it wouldnt b so bad, but it takes WELL over a month 2 get ur gun back from them.

AND btw im not an idiot, i do know how 2 fix these guns, ive fixed every problem i could that didnt involve a factory defective part. when my friends 03 pooped out, it was a week after i ordered my bko, i said O SCHNAP THIS BETTER NOT HAPPEN 2 ME! but it did. dont buy a bko and we all used hpa on our bushmasters.

don't listen to the guys who said cocker. they probably didn't have a BKO and wish they got one and are now trying to get someone else to make their mistake. If drif or die did have one, he probably didn't know **** about them to fix it himself. Maby he overcharged his gun. it happened to my spyder board. Also he probably had his reg set to high, thus blowing his solenoid.

Yeah ok buddy, Its actually the other way around for me. I was thinking of getting a BKO, but then got the mag i have now. I couldn't be happier with what i have now, espiecailly opposed to a BKO and I don't plan on upgrading to any high end electro gun or anything. I think you should also consider a mag quietkiller88. They are the most reliable guns out there. I have had mine for 7 months and NEVER ONCE have I had a problem, while my friend with his BKO had numerous problems and my other friends electros kept crapping out (except for my buddies Viking)

Hooraya for you! We helped someone out through PBR for the first time in a few months. Now all we need to do is have ___________ and __________ die or leave the site and it'll be pretty good.

One of my friends used to own a BKO, and 3 of my friends own a cocker. The BKO broke a couple times (dont know details) and he sold it. 2 of my friends cockers work fine, but 1 keeps breaking, always different things wrong with it.

I'm guessing I should fill my name into one of those blanks.

I'd vote cocker.

Why?

I've owned a BKO, several spyders, Piranhas, a Trix for a few short days, two Angels, a killer mag, and...TWO cockers.

The most reliable?

The Angel. But the cocker is a CLOSE second. Always there when I need a backup

HPA is now the determining factor, like tonty said..BKO aren't made for handling it, Cocker are and will effectively.

If half of you people would actually read the thread, you would've said Cocker, because BKO's don't run fvery well, if at all on CO2. Cocker all the way.

teehee ;)

The only BKO I'd ever consider getting is one with all AKA parts and all manner of ups, and maybe not even then...dod86's bad experience (and rantings in every AIm convo) have led me to believe that they're just not all that great out of the box.

And I <3 Dan's mag, so get one. I miss mine so :(

Cocker, btw.
