Hehe, contrary to popular beliefs, a SWAT team, that's never played paintball before, well they stink :) Why? Because SWAT tactics and paintballtactics are entirely different from each other. We had about 4 guys on the SWAT team play our field a few months ago (real big tough looking gentlemen, though they were super nice), and everyone was terrified of them. Few games later, they realised they'd have to change their tactics alot, although, unlike newbies, they are absolutely amazing communication wise, they have a great understanding of covering fire, and when it comes to clearing out rooms or the inside of bunkers, look out. Other than that though, they're just like any other player that hasnt played alot of paintball, so it wouldnt be that big a deal playin em :)

Nope. Some departments have tried using paintball equiptment. But as we know paintball equiptment is no where close to the real thing.

Most departments use simunition.

A special kind of round that goes into a standard pistol. It uses a lot less powder than a normal round. The acual projectile is made out of plastic and splits apart on inmact. It is filled with a paint like fill.

Ultimate scenario game: General Norman Schwarzkopf vs. Feldmarshel Erwin Rommel. Other than that, I'd like to play Mexican standoff against all of those prissy boy-bands. I'd like to have Bill Gates as a paintball buddy... Okay Bill, you take the Gatling-armed helicopter and I'll keep their heads down with the laser-guided mortar... Hey, Twitcho's right about the SWAT team thing, these guys showed up to one of my local fields all decked out in full camo, wearing those spiffy little head mounted radios. Turned out they were a team that the local SWAT team practices against. Everybody was scared to death of'm. Then we did a game where it was basically them vs. everyone else (there were a lot of them, so the teams were even). That game actually timed out, but it ended up with them having only like three guys left as opposed to most of our team left. Although I did envy their radios, they really weren't that great. They were very nice people though.
