18 volt revi?

Is it possible to take out the transformer thingy in a 12 volt revi and make it an 18 volt. will it be fast as hell or will it just explode or burn up or something. it's just and idea

You probably couldn't make the transformer into an 18v. It is possible but it is hard and long and boring and messy, but it can be done. The motor probably wouldn't care if you ran 18v through it. The transformer would be easier to buy than build. You could also try just absolutely removing the transformer and splicing the motor directly to the two 9v's. If you try it tell me how it works.

the reason BE stopped making the Shredder (18volt revy) was because the motor is ONLY a 12 volt motor. It was under powered at 9 vlts, and overpowered at 18 so in comes the 12vlt. The 18 volt motors were burning out, but if you want a Shredder, my friend sells them.
