expansion chamber help

Ok guys, you will probably think im new to the sport after this post, but I'm not, I've just decided to buy something that I could I could really up-grade. I'm planning on buying a pmi marker with just the hose hooking directly to the marker, but I have a lil brother that has a marker with the same thing and I've tried putting an exspansion chamber on his, but when I was un-screwing the hose it was twisting. So my question is how do you put on an expansion chambe?

get a wrench and use that to unscrew the hose with.

I've tried but the hose keeps twisting and getting "kinks" in it
