*and Nafty, what were you thinking posting "tippmanns blow" on a tippmann Forum? i mean i pissed people off a month ago double posting, and i thought that i was a dumba**. but you, Nafty, you are the king. everybody should feel better about themselves after they read the "tippmanns blow" forum.

techincally, no, u can't really walk "mech" triggers and you can't reallu walk or get the "walking effect" from the RT. When you put a double trigger on the RT and try to walk, when ur first finger comes down and pulls the trigger, right after that by that time the trigger has already reset, ready for the next trigger pull before even ur second finger comes down, creating not much of a difference. You would probably be able to shoot faster by just holding down the double trigger together compared to trying to do the "walking" motion. So you could TRY to walk the RT but u really wouldn't achieve that effect "walking effect". I know their's ppl out there that claim the RT can be walked but idk...

now i'm not saying don't buy the double trigger if ya got the RT, i have the double trigger and I have RT and it's nicer than the single trigger cause lol i'm lazy and it's easier on the fingers to work the RT with the double trigger. So basically with the double trigger and RT compared to a single trigger and RT, u get the same effect for less amount of work of ur fingers...if ya got the money to blow, sure go ahead and buy it...

I'm actually going to have to disagree with you Fuzz.

I understand what you're saying (Kinda, it's sorta jumbled up) but saying a mechanical pull isn't walkable is false. As long as you can keep the back and forth motion going for a long enough period of time it's walkable. It just so happens that when you have an electronic pull it's easier to keep that motion up because of the less effort and force that you need to apply to shoot.

However, what about this (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=130476&highlight=Hair+Trigger)?

That's a mechanical pull alright. Perfectly walkable, as you can see. So obviously it can be done. You just need to know what you're doing and being capable of doing such a thing.

Man I love freaking people out with that video. :D

he was referring to the RT on a tippmann.

yeah, i was talking about the RT but i think i did say mechanically triggers are not walkable and yes that's not true but like already said, u really need to know what ur doing if u want to attempt that so if ppl ask about it, i don't shut it down and say it's impossible, but i just don't suggest it to them...

Oh, I gotcha. Sorry it was kind of hard to understand some of that. Yeah, you're right though, the R/T is hard to walk because of the bounce it puts on the trigger.

It doesn't really matter if you can walk it or not. The Tippmanns ROF is supposed to be 13 but realistically I have experiences 9bps maybe a little better. You should be able to pull the single trigger that fast. If its trigger pull resistance your talking about I say it would be a good upgrade. But if its just for speed I wouldn't waste money.
