Ok, ive looked at bolts on other stacked tube blow-back guns, and the air hole in their bolts are at least twice the size of the hole on my orions bolt. Is there a difference in performance due to the size? If so could i possibly drill mine out if it would benefit me in any way?

nope, it just prob waste more co2 and mess up the airflow. if u wanna drilll a hole in somehtin take out the "volumizer" (aka low pressure chamber) under the barrel and drill a big hole in the inside to create more space for the c02 to evaporate or whatever. i dont know how much good it'll do though, and dont drill through the thing, or your gun'll b screwed.

Actually a bigger airflow whole may reduce ball breakage, due to the air is distributed in a bigger pattern. When drilling it out though, you may need to change spring combination because the larger airflow will produce more velocity. Remember to polish the inside of the hole after drilling, so you do not impede the airflow.

i'm doing this this weekend, i'll enlarge it just a bit right now i think its at 1/5 inch i'll bring it to 1/4 inch and we'll see, sunday i'm going for 10 hour group thing with friends so i'll have time and opportunity to experiment.

No, dont drill it out. Different bolts have different types of holes in them (some, but not all). Its designed to geve you the max performance for that type of bolt. Just go out and buy a new one you like, because you may end up having to buy a one after you mess up you bolt.

im going with noc and team, im the proud owner of a spyder imagine and have hust recently drilled my bolt out, and i was amazed by the velocity increase! just make sure you change the spring combination(hard valve/soft main will lower velocity and lessen the blowback for a faster feeding rate)
anyway hope that helps.
and yes this will(i think) reduce chops.

i did it finally tonight, i got new set of drillbits so i figured i'll give it a shot...
Went only one size bigger, the hole is originally 3/16 i drilled it to 7/32, then used much bigger drill to shave the sharp edges, and finished the job by buffing with craftsman buffing compound.
I won a nice set of springs on e-bay, which i need cause i put an ACI low pressure chamber, which makes the spring for the valve too short, i need either a spyder compac spring or just take a soft hammer spring and cut it down to size.
Next saturday i'll go and test the new setup at my local and amaizingly only paintball store in queens, thanks giving will give it hard workout at skirmish
