why do we post anything at all? Since you can search for anything, and find anything...any newer posts just get flamed on, and locked....(no offence.....) so why not....not let anyone post, since they can search for whatever they are looking for?

You post for further clarification or for new questions. As you can tell new problems arise on a regular basis.

Yes, the far majority of things can be searched. Also note that the times when a search is suggested it's with a question that has been asked many, many times.

cause the majority of the people dont know a search exists, even if they did, they would still make a thread to ask again.

cuz it's fun and friendly, or rude and frustrating. Either way it's something to do.

What if we had a question that you cannot locate in a search, then you are screwed.

Its just the rising amount of people in the forums that refuse to use the search button.

Also, some people without usernames browse the forums for info. You need an account to use the search feature.

I allow the questions because if I were to just close threads and say "do a search" or anything of that nature, they would still make the threads. They'd just say "I tried searching but found nothing."

I know that, because it already happens.
