hi.. I am new to ACI. I have a model 98 and i don't really like it. I am getting a new gun and I was wondering if a ACI F4 Illistrator Tp would be a good gun. I have enough $$$ for this gun and a new barrel($60). Is this a good gun??
~~Thanks for the help

I own an F4 Tp and it is a great gun. I bought an exspansion chamber for it (6 stage sub zero) a lapco bigshot, drop foward, venturi bolt, and 9volt hopper. It kicks the crap out of very other gun.

ACI's guns have a reputation for kick butt cold weather performance, due to the combination of an angled bottomline and the "Spiffy" valve. The TP? Well I haven't owned one, a Griffin yes, F4 TP no. But from what the reviews say it is just even better than a Griffin. I say go for it, just make sure to get an older model that still has the 10 degree bottom-line, it puts just enough angle on the tank to provide some liquid CO2 relief, that way you can botch the X-Chamber route and get a good regulator, as I have found the Griffin to be extremely inconsistant, even on HPA!
