They're working on the speedball fields to make them better and more challenging, and they have a unique field that I don't think I've ever seen before... A "TWIG" field. It's where there's 1" trees, hundreds of them. It's about the size of a football field, and those trees are your only protection, no bunkers. A noll right in the middle of the field. Very challenging.

Comments/Conculsions:
- Mix of kids and semi-pros.
- Only two fields but they REALLY keep it moving. On the speedball field, you'll be able to stop and clean while another game is going on and then catch the next game.
- They have many people who play there every weekend (which says a lot).
-The lady who runs the shop is very nice and helpful. She loves to talk :)
- Refs aren't as good as say Skirmish, but they do pay attention (unlike some fields).
- If you want to play anything besides total elimination, you have to ask them and the group can vote on it. Otherwise they'll just keep splitting you into teams and sending you out to play.
- Tip: They don't really break for lunch, you can order pizza and have it delivered to the field.

Everything is just as RickyC143 said. I live in NYC and Skirmish is the 1st and only place I have gone so far. I have been there 2x and it's great there. I haven't played through all the fields but I heard they have the most fields there. It's pretty kool...the refs I had in the past are really friendly and when calling to make reservations the reps are also friendly. It's about a 2:00 - 2:30 drive from NYC --> Jim Thorpe. The paint they use both times I went though were 32* Team Color. Lots of walking from the lockers/picknick area/fill station to the fields though x_X just start gaining some stamina before going there. Here is the paint rate:
$99 for 1 case
$90 for 5 cases +
$75 for 12 cases +
(I went on 6/29/02 and these are the prices there...the price is different from the site but the site also said tax on the paint.)
for more detailed info on Registration fee just visit the site. The rates Ricky shows are close and are correct but not precise ^_^x. Oh you can't bring paint because they use different colors...The rental guns they use are Tippmann 98's and I believe V-Force goggles.

I live in Albany... and i have been to first prize paintball... its easy to be in buisness when your the only game in town. selection of equipment is limited they are speedball only oriented and they are EXPENSIVE.
the superior to you attitude given off by their refs and employees make it hard to go back,... oh yeah thats why i mail order everything.
I have personally watched their "home team" beat up on newbies in a private game,. that they took it upon themselves to join in. and the place is just poor. if you live in albany... try them out. then travel to another field. you will see what i mean.

Comments/Conclusions: Indoor airball field is good sized, with carpeted floors, a stationary car bunker, decent shooting lanes, and a 2-story hotel front at one end. The outdoor is on 30+ acres, with many trees, varied terrain, speedball field, and a 3-story fortress on one side. The staff is great, reffing is good, and really haven't had a "bad" experience in the 2 years I've been playing/reffing there.

Comments/Conculsions: Very nice field. Very well maintainted. Great people, teams are always worked out to be fair. Slight hill on fields, does not give any major advantages. 3 different fields, 2 are wooden/tubing mixtures, other is airball/wooden. Check out the review in the Field Review Section.

Comments/Conculsions: this is a great place to go. the owners and refs are very nice. byop for walk ones is great. there are about 13 fields i think. a little expensive for rentals but a great field for walk ons.

Comments/Conculsions: PBX is an indoor airball field. THe floor has nice carpets, and the place is lways clean. inbetween games, the floor is swept and the bunkers are wiped off. PBX is known for its amazing customer service and friendlyness.

Fields Paint Available/ Fee: Paint always changes but evil, pmi, and rps are common and they run about 45-65 a case depending on specials.

Styles of Play Available: Woods, hyperball, airball, castle (two story scenario heaven, not my style but it's cool)

Comments/Conculsions: Great field, the courses are great and the fields are always changing as the standards change. Sundays are team practice days and ARSENAL has even showed up, they played BAD COMPANY (there store is only 15 minutes away, nice store, Wayne from Arsenal works there). Refs are chill but enforce the rules (mask, fps, stuff like that). Great place, gets a 9 out of 10, only problem is when it rains it gets really muddy.
