Everytime I ask this question, it seems that only the high end pumps get any credit for there paintball services. So i was just wondering about all u out there with the average joe pumps like me and my tigershark who wan't to have their voice heard.

Maybe the high end guns get credit because thats what pumps people use most.

Now thats some mighty strong opinioatin, You stayin exclusively in the pump section?
Had to go with the PGP since it was the only sheridan product! they are accurate and rock solid! people dont like them becasue you cant trick them out! Thing is is that you dont need to like some other P.O.S.!

Ya good ol pgp's "Americas lil Backup" hehe. I've only played with one like twice, but i've been shot withem many a time, and there nothin to make jokes about.
PGP's are how I started! Stock PGP's! with the 10 round mag on top and the 12gm!LOL Carrying 10 round paint tubes! If you went thru 40-50 rounds in a game you were hosing!LOL The advent of "constant air" (9oz bottle jerry riged to the gun) and a "stick feeder" (holding like 15 more balls then the stock 10) were the monster guns! Too fun! I think paintball has gotton way too "firepower" heavy! but it still rocks!

You forgot the Armson pump. It costs around $160.00 with a new Stealth barrel. I don't think that is too high end.

Ya i know i left out several guns, cause i just didn't have enough room for all of them. I should have made an OTHER.

Dude you forgot the Brass Eagle Cobra. Sniff... Sniff... My first marker. Damn what a beast. 12gr quick changer, 20rnd stick tube loader, then upgraded to an 80rnd thing that looked like a spray bottle upside down. Those were the days man.

You forgot the WGP "Sniper II/III" mod of the cocker. :) it of course gets my vote.

I didn't put the Snipers on there for a reason, they r considered high end pump guns, same with the phantom, and buzzard.
I am thinking about buying a sl-68. Is this a good gun? Are there better guns for less than $200?How can I upgrade it?

The only good pumps are the high end pumps. You just can't compare a Phantom to a Tiger Shark or even a SL-68 II. Phantoms rule.

I'll admit that, but the gun u play with has lil to do with how well u play. I mean after a while of playin with a certain gun it is hard to just switch over to another and still play as well as u did before.

I love my Brass Eagle talon. It's the expendable marker. If I break it, I can just buy another one for $20. I know it can't really be used competitvely, if at all on a normal field, but I enjoy all the new players it brings to the sport. So keep up the good work BE.

I dig trracers...
IMO, any 'low end' pump is a decent pump as long as it's got adjustable velocity, cuz swapping springs is a pain that no player should go through anymore ^_^

Aren't PMI Trracers semi autos?

diablo pumps rule. they are better than my spyders
Spyders suc eh? hmmm gotta get me some of that! All my guns blow... ;)
distance and accuracy is that which you look for in a pump! But you can still rock with a talon if you are good enough or man enough to play with it!

The pump that I would suggest getting is the Talon ghost. It runs great once you get decent upgrades. I would recommend the same ones that I have.
Well SORRY B*TCH! I guess I didn't know cause I don't really play pump. Oh yea, TALONS SUCK! I had one, named it Lucy (named it after my ex) cause the Talon and she both suck d*ck! You couldn't hit someone with a Talon at pointblank range! It doesn't matter if you get upgrades, it's still going to suck!
Oh DARN, he was banned! What? I wasn't flaming...

why would you keep a pump for any more than a week? at least get a stingray or something

I suppose I see where strongboy is going with this. Why would you keep one of those ****ty Sniper II's when you can get a Model 98 Custom instead?! Perhaps if you kept it for more than a week you would decide to turn it into an autococker as well, but that is beside the point. I get tired of these funny guys who come in here to say, "pump guns suck." it's not original and it wasn't funny even the first time. Both pumps and semis have their places in paintball, and it is ridiculous to say that one is better than the other. People buy each for a different set of reasons.

Comments of how pump guns suck and why would you want one is a sign of a newbie almost 100% accurate. Most of these people have probably never tried a pump. If they did they probably sucked because they suck which is whay they dont like the. They dont realize how much pump cane make you better and doesnt make you less effective. Some guys i know that have played pump only for less than a year and these guys rock. Ive been playing for almost 3 years and they had more skills than me when I first started playing with my phantom. Im sure these guys could work these anti pump newbies with ease. I wish I could play these guys one on one with my stock phantom. I would hand them an angel to do it. They dont realize that pumps actually have some advantages over semi.

Yeah, I agree. I had the opportunity to play one on one modified stock class with my brother, me with a phantom and him with a Sniper II. It was the most fun I have ever had. I've only been playing pump for 3 months or so, but i am holding my own against a lower class of semis. I think everyone should try it out for a little while.
