all guns are gonna chop balls.. yes it does chop, but not too often.. one of my good friends that i play with about every weekend has an 04 bko and he only chops about a ball per CASE... so its pretty low as to the amount of balls... look at some of the reviews of guns in ur price range, and try to make a deicision

oooor, you can save a little more and get a Custom ULE-PRO from AGD that has an anti-chop bolt & xvalve stock. then you could put pretty much whatever you want on it.

You say you've done research, but if you had brought up the reviews on both markers you could've seen what each of them had over the other.

Anyway, I don't know who told you 33bps, it's more like 18. That doesn't matter though, I can all but guarantee you won't be shooting anything over that.

ICD's markers are better overall quality than Spyder's, and the BKO is a true electro-pneumatic design as supposed to the sear-tripping Fenix. Both of them could use a few upgrades to be tourney-ready, the Fenix more so than the BKO.

BKO sounds good, but make sure you get HPA to keep the gun in good shape. Also, I'd look around a little more, dont just be set on these two different guns, ask about a general 300-400 dollar gun

I true electro has a 4-way soleniod, not some spring to return the ram/bolt ;)

So imo, a bko (and em1) are semi-true electro's :P

IF you are looking in to used markers, may I suggest the evil omen, they can be found for cheap, and if you know how to set it will rip and be accurate and that fun stuff, and they have the cam so they won't chop.

Or if you get a bko you can get a blind bolt that should help with chopping.

BKO

You really should however save some more and get something a little higher end since you are exiting the world of low end markers like spyders and tippys and other clones.

I would say...
If you want the BKO, then go for it. It's your gun, if you want it, no one is gonna' stop you. I say BKO because it's reliable, fairly fast and pretty light, IMO.
If you don't want one, I say look for a nice mag, preferrably used, becuase even used ones are like new.

I would not go with the BKO. IF you are going to spend 300-400 dollars pay a little more money and get the b2k or a imp.
The BKO is physically capped 18bps.
Or if you want to keep it cheap go with the spyder. I know that it is a spyder, but those fenix are capped at like 20 i think, and IMO rip pretty damn well.

But pay 100 more dollars and get the B2k.

If you buy a BKO you will need to get HPA like quietkiller88 said. You will also need a new hopper if you don't already have good one. It will end up costing you more than $300.

cool all vary good points, i think in my price range ill have to go with the fenix acs, its 20 bps and with a t-board for $60 20bps goes to 36bps

bare in mind, however, that any blowback design will have... problems at even 14bps. Anything above these issues (Kick, Shootdown, etc.) are only amplified. Really. 20 bps is pretty questionable, and 36 is unrealistic imo.
