I think its cool that the ProSeries Pants can unzip into shorts. and that woudl be nice to have when it gets hot cause you could just zip it off and you woudl still hvae knee/shinguard pads. But im wondering if it is quality made. Im thinking that since it unzips at the knees, that it might not have good knee protection (and i slide on my knees a lot!! so i need it) i need to know if they will last me a good while, or if it woudl be better to just go w/ the destroyers, cause i think they have good protection @ the knees

Any info on either pair of pants would be most appeciated

thanks!!

(and i can get them cheap so thats why im getting actual paintball pants.. otherwise id go to target :) )

I have not used either of the pants. But knowing from some of the zip off pants I have, it's very uncomfortable kneeling in them, you feel the zipper sort of dig into your knee. Not very fun.

The pro series pants are way over priced. I got some pants that unzipped for $15 and it had a better material for me. I didnt have a problem with the zipper so it depends where the zipper is. The dont have much padding and are kind of thin which is why I didnt get them. If the destroyer ones are the ones that are butt tight, those are just *** looking. The look like they give you good knee/shin protection though. Im going to get the PJ antrhron pants or whatever theyre called. They are pricy but they have knee pads and hip pads in them and are a nice material.

i have a pair, i got mine at a deal. The knee area protects very well, but I say for comfortably get 3-4 sizes bigger, so it won't seem you are wearing tight pants. my waist is 32, and i have 38,

Do you guys think that both the Destroyers and Pro Series pants have the same padding on the knees and they have pretty good padding?

I'm pretty set on trying a pair of either of these out.. but i need to know if i should get the zip up pro series or the destroyers.

and i thought the jt pants were baggy to sort of cusion a paintball if you get shot there ??

i wear a 32 waist also.. so your 38 fits fine around the waist??

The pro series have no padding, they are just pants with a pocket for a straight shot- jk. Seriously though I dont see any difference between the pro pants and a normal pair of pants besides the pockets and the nylon stuff on the knees so they dont rip. The medium level PJ pants have the nylon stuff on the knees and the croth and have THICK padding on the knees and hips and cost a $20 or so less. A pair of zip off pants somehwere else for $30 would be almost the same thing except you wont have 12 pockets.
Performance wise Id get the destroyer between the two, looks wise Id get the pro. Id get the PJ ones over both of them though.

some things about the pro-series pants... is that it needs to hand washed in warm water, and hanged dry, with no heat. That's the only thing i hate about those.... the 12 pocket design.... is more for which company can come out with a paintball pants with the most pockets... jt won, obviously.

i wear 32, but most of my pants & shorts (i wear on a daily basis) are sizes beyond my waist size. around 38-40, and I just like the look of baggy pants on. my personal preference.

i have my raven slider shorts, and then some basketball shorts, and then my pro-series pants..... enough protection in the hip area, that last time i got shot 3 feet away in the groin, and walked away with a bounce.

those pj pants, dye pants, and raven pants are nice too...

also if you're already have knee/shin pads under your pants, it doesn't really make a difference.

How loose were the JT pants on your waist when you got a 38 over a 32 (your real size?) I wear a 32 and i like it baggy also.. but i dont want them falling off :eyes: Can you wear a belt with it or will your harness keep them on your hips?

The ProSeries need to be hand washed?? Its ok that they need to be hang dried, but do they really have to be hand washed? Cant you just throw it in the washing machine on delicate and warm water? What will happen if you do this?

Are the destroyers like this also?

Hey Jason, have you heard from macdev yet? I haven't heard from them in like 2 weeks and i've sent them 2 emails.. LMK if you have. I dont know my status right now..i think they are still waiting for the CP Kit
