Got Silver Raptor Cheap!

I just wona bid for a Brass Eagle Silver Raptor for $40. Let me know what you think of the gun for the price i got it at. Here is a link to the bid that i won. This is also my first gun besides the cheap talon ive used once.

Yes, a spyder. You could have gotten one, probably, with a barrel, which would have been better than a stock BE gun. Remember, spyders have been proven to be great starter guns, while BE's haven't.

the silver raptor is a great solid gun, good job take care of it by cleaning and oiling and it will last a lifetime, plus get the eagleworks raptor barre l for like 15 bux online it looks great with the silver eagle and shoots well plus its quiet

hey man BE does not last forever. In fact, they have the shortest lifespan out of any marker i have ever tried, (and believe me i have played with a LOT of markers.) The longest i've ever heard of one lasting is maybe a week. I'm from canada and we have a little store i like to call canadian tire. They're great as far as taking back the junk they sell, but since your going in to replace your cheap BE shyt almost weekly, it's just a hassle to own anything a la Brass Eagle.

Some people have had good times with BE, while most laugh at them. You don't just oil a gun and it last forever, you have some parts that are just plain weak. Cupseals wear down, and I mean sometimes they go down in a week. For $40 a nice used Victor would do you good, with alot of room to upgrade and whatnot.

Evo, go away, this is a flame. Oil is not magical and an imortal solution to a BE gun, a trashcan is.

A trix, are you kidding? WDP rules, and I dont mean that because everyone knows about an angel. I love my 'gel. I have used a trix and theres nothing special about it. My guns faster, more efficient, better looking, and o yea, its just plain better. You should be shot for even saying it belongs in a trash can... HaHa your telling me to throw away my baby.

My Vl lasted longer than my brothers Spyders did with no maintence(sp?). Spyders suck and Angels are overrated, get a Trix.

Back on topic, If its your first marker it will work, but the more you get into speedball(assuming you will) the mroe you will need a higher end marker (Angel, Shocker,Ebalded Cockers to name a few)

The raptor will need sum changes, i recoment a electronic loder (you should get one any ways) and polished internals, venturie less bolt if it has one. My neighgbeors gave him alot of trouble. You cant use cheap paint in this marker it will tare it apart, and jam ect. For a starter gun its ok, but a spyder is better

So you havent....? Thoes guns are nothing like the raptor, the raptor is alot better quality, stronger ect. But it does need work to reack its full potential.

There are barrels for it, hard to find though, but if you want to keep it i recomend you get one, also do the mods i posted earlyer, and get a TI hammer from dark horizon, It will cut down on kick, whhich you will find is alot.
