Well, I'm trying to work out a tippmann project, but of course I need some info to find what parts I need to work with, and being a poor college student doesn't leave much extra cash. First thing is, does anyone have pictures of a J&J A-5 45 grip frame they can send me. I'll need the pics to have the grip panels removed and the more detailed the better.

Of course If you feel really ambitious (or bored) you could also give me the dimensions or the grip frame.

Either Pm me here, at Automags.org under Os_gardi, or you can email me at Anthony-Olson@uiowa.edu

Well, failing pics, Can someone tell me what it looks like with the grip panel removed? I.E. is it solid aluminum underneath the grips? or is it a frame which the grips just attach to, similar to those on automags or angels?

Of course :D, its a great concept. but hey, I'm still debating whether to use a 3-way/single acting ram or a 4-way/double acting ram. Someone over at automags.org said that a single acting ram would stay in the extended position if you held the trigger down, making it full auto, and I'm not really looking for that. I dunno if you’ve gotten that far yet, but what did you use?

I actually saw this thread but didn't click it til now.

Anyway, it's not hollowed out completely. I don't have a picture of it right now but I'll take one.

The basic design is hollowed out but in the middle there is a "bar" that goes across. That's where the R/T piston is supposed to go. After all the J and J grip is R/T compatable. That part could very easily be milled out, in fact you could mill out alot of the grip without a problem if you wanted to.

I'll get a pick for you soon.
