well, if he can get into a sweet set up, why not? honestly he doesnt deserve it, but tell me if any of you would turn down a sweet set up "because you dont deserve it". also im sure if you get him a sweet cocker he wont like it (he would want a simpler gun that cant be short stroked and doest need maitenance) so if he got a cocker i bet he would sell it :)

If he has the money, why not? Who cares if he doesn't deserve it. If you teach him things, and he has fun, what does it matter? If

I had the money I'd be shooting a 2k2 Red Cobra Mamba LCD with Red A.I.R and a matching freak...i think i deserve at least that :)

Well lets see, you propose that you manipulate your "friend" into buying a gun that he won't like so that he'll donate it to you? I don't think you want to know how I feel about this, but I'll tell you anyway.

If you're going to do that, you're a thief and not even remotely his friend. What does it matter that he has a lot of money and you don't, does it make it any better that you're stealing from him?

Stealing is Stealing! Whether it be from rich or poor, its the same.

If you're really his friend, you take him to your local proshop and try out a bunch of markers and figure out his style. Help him get the marker that best suits him. Helping someone is being a friend. Judging someone by saying "he doesn't deserve it" isn't being a friend. Whether he deserves it or not is of no issue to you. He asked for your advice, so you're going to give him the best freaking advice that brain of yours can. Ever hear the expression "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."? ... Basically what goes around comes around, and if you screw your "friend" over, someone will steal from you, I guarantee it.

So you've got 2 choices:

1. Steal from this guy, who will no longer be your friend, and you'll be a self-certified scum-bag(And no a friend isn't someone who you use and then dispose of.)

=OR=

2. Help this guy and be a real friend to him.

I agree with Flash! You see I was lucky, I was right in the middle of that same story. I had friends that could buy the world. And I had other friends that couldn't afford much of anything. However we were all friends! Friends watch out for one another. My rich friends knew that some of "us" couldn't afford the nice things in life and they would share their good fortune. Because some of us couldn't afford those nice things we learned how to have fun (campin, swiming, hangout together) without spending money doing it, but still enjoying one anothers company thru thick and thin. We were friends, we were equal, we were like brothers. The rich and the poor. I've still got all those friends and I would do anything for them, And I know they'd do the same for me! Hey it's that old saying "Do on to others, As you would have them do on to you" or like Flash said "What goes around, comes around!"

Once upon a time YOU never had shot a marker either! Remember YOU can make a difference in someones life! Make it positive, Be a friend, Someone to be remembered as such, there will come a time you need advice too!

Well, we went off what you posted. Yeah I don't know this kid, but you don't know if paintball is the sport that this kid wants to stick with... like you're comparing skateboarding to paintball... thats like comparing the merry-go-round to the rollercoaster.

Like I said in the other post, if you're setting him up to buy a gun you know he won't like, so you can get it cheap... that is stealing my friend, there's no other word for it.

Just help the guy get the best thing for him... not necessarily what is seen as the best, but the best for the kid.

My god, kid. There is this thing called a period. It looks like this ".". It's next to the comma, which will be our next lesson. You use these periods to break up individual thoughts making it easier to read and understand clearly. See how this post is broken into nice, small, easy to read segments? Try to immitate that.

Lol, ladiesman you made me laugh ... anyhow lazy, just do what your friend wants. He said he wants the best did he not? So that is what I'd recommend to do.

As I see it, the top four best markers are: SP Shocker(Dream or Eclipse), WDP Angel (and its various forms), Ripper Intimidator, and AKA Excalibur.

I would try to recommend one of those, or atleast get him to try them... if you have more questions, post them.

PpL! PPL! PPL! I know how we can settle this......lets play him....and his group and his friend that doesn't "deserve" a gun...
Come out to cali...but this time its not spray and pray its spray and laugh! oh yea by the way...stock or fly angels aren't the best....cobras...and darks...maybe....but a timmy blows an angel outta the water...uh oh...i think i started something...lol
