Some players like to use gunsights on markers... If your for or against - thats another thread, this is just how to do it.
Aimpoint made a gunsight for military use called the "OEG".
OEG stands for Occluded Eye Gunsight. It was one of the first red dot type sights. The problem with early red dot sights was visibility of the little red dot. The OEG took a very different approach. You can not look through the OEG as there is no objective lens... just a black field in which rested the red point of light. You sighted by bringing the weapon up to level and while keeping both eyes open you place the dot on target. The brain transposes one image on top of the other image so it looks like your target has the dot on top of it. Sounds as screwed up as a football bat - but it worked. And it worked FAST. Very fast gunsite that was favored for SMGs for CQB duty.

Nowdays there are some seriously high tech sights by Aimpoint that have taken the OEG's place - but many gunslingers still use the OEG as it's still a fully functional and viable gunsite.

Now - to the paintball marker:
The Pro has a vertical feed that most think would prevent you from sighting over the barrel. Here is what you can do.
Take a cheap red dot and spray paint the front of the glass flat black, letting the reflex action hit the inside and reflect to your eye the little red dot in the middle of a black field. Aim with both eyes open and you will be sighting like a pro with your Pro.

My point is that the brain and eye will do a trick and make you think your looking through the vertical feed as if its a ghost... an optical illusion that gives you the benifit that you can use a gunsite on your Pro or any other vertical feeding marker that has a sight rail on it.

Its easy guys...

Take a piece of cardboard and gut out a shape roughly like what the back of the Marker looks like... Now - about where the scope would be - draw a red dot with a marker.
Hold it up like you are shooting and keep both eyes open. You can not see through the cardboard - but your brain will combine both images from each eye - letting you sight the marker.

It works.

Wait so were just cuttin out the shape of our marker? then there would be no place to put the dot where the sight would be. The shape of the back of the marker is kinda like

Seriously - Was lookin at a friends BL Intimidator and this subject came up.

It can be done - just that 99% of people with vertifeeds wouldnt do it because they dont want sights on the marker.

I think I understand you. you spraypaint the front of a adco red dot sight and the just look at the red dot with your other eye open. The your brain does the math and puts a little red dot on your target right? this is so if your elbow or feeder gets in the way right?
