$$$...upgrade or buy an additional gun?

Here's the situation: I have a certain amount of money to throw on paintball and i was planning on upgrading my gun (new trigger frame w/ trigger job, new barrel, new bolt, etc..) and im figuring with the money that i'd spend i could get another gun. I usually play on my own but i'd like to get some relatives into it and im thinking that maybe one of them could use the extra gun when playing. So what do you think I should do? Should I soup up my gun totally the way I want to or should I invest in another gun to have?

what kind of gun is it? why not just get a few upgrades and a case of paint and field and air fees.

Assuming you have a spyder, I can say the most practical choice is to stop upgrading a just buy another gun. That way you will have an extra gun your relatives can use, plus a decent main gun.

what kind of guns are you looking to purchase? what is your spending range?
