The 05 speed is the same price as the cyborg buddy. 980 and 999, pretty much the same. I would also get the 05 speed over the Cyborg because I like 90* frames, the speed has amazing eyes, and it has a better trigger style (magnetic and lighter then the cyborg) I also think the speed looks way better and its lighter.

 and that the new speed will be easier to get and you may be able to get it with free shipping from somewhere to make up for the small price difference ;)

The new speed looks fugly, I opted out of holding one at the shop today cause I didn't feel like it. Held an Evil Pimp though, which was an, intresting marker to say the least. The trigger was so funky, not a bad funky, just different.
If only this shop had macdev stuff :(

they put a dye grip on there because it is the best grip on the market, and they wanted only the best stuff on their marker. plus, they knew everyone would probably put stickies on anyway

the cyborg is a fast dependable gun...... its nice and light the only bad thing about it is the trigger but that can easily be fixed just loosen it............ i would get that over the angel speed any day..... its wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy faster................... the speed breaks down alot too....... also u will see a lot of guns with the dye sticky on it because its the best grip out there.... it dosent let any paint into ur trigger which is awesome........ only the best grip for one of the best guns:cool:

The speed is actually technically faster then the cyborg. The cyborg does 30 bps and the 05 speed will do 31 (they advertise that) either way the speed is definitly just as fast if not faster. (not like it really matters cause you never will shoot over 18)Also the stickies on the cyborg are horrible, the clear dye stickies are plastic and are not rubbery or soft AT ALL. Most people end up replacing them with Dye Sticky 3s which are way better. The new 05 speed has the EyeQ system which is much more dependable then sensi was. I would take the speed over the cyborg anyday. Plus I have actually shot and held a cyborg.

spped>cyborg. I have shot both and the cyborg is clicky. Not to mention my friends borg had a crap board and it didnt work one day at the field and he had to use my backup cocker. Speed is just an amazing gun. That trigger is UN FREAKING BELIEVABLE! Cyborg is also fugly. And the grips suck man genatalia. there hard and clear. i put the matrix stickys on it 4 a bit, it was a lot better. Speed also looks better and that frame is amazing. Trigger was uber smooth and trigger is also PHAST. hands down an 05 speed is much better. get that

yeah the stock grips are hard, but i had the shop put sticky 3's on before i got the marker, so i never really thought about it.

What about accuracy on the Speed O5? Anyone comment on that? I'm deciding between the 2.

accuracy really depends on what barrel you use. The stock infinity is nice, but the Matchstik on the Borg is probably a little better.

I've shot both a Cyborg, and my Fly, and I can say that the 05 Speed would be better if you like the 90* frame. If you like 45* frame, get the 05 Speed. Other then that, they will pretty much be equal in performance, the Cyborg probably being a bit more efficient on gas though.
