Can anyone lend me some wisdom about which marker to choose. I'm in the process of restocking my team and my choice has come down to the Armotech WG-65 or the Tippmann A-5. Anyone with experience with these markers and a love for the tactical/scenario game of paintball. Gimme a shout, any insight is much appreciated. Thanks

I take it by the tone of your message that you think it's a difficult choice too LoL
Thanks for the insight though.

No,I'm just kind of against MilSim play and the guns, especially Armotech because they're rediculously heavy, slow, inaccurate, and overpriced.
A5's are overpriced too, but if you really want a MilSim type gun then the A5 is the lesser of the two evils.

I say you go with the a-5, but if you look in my sig you can kind of get a view about how i feel towards those kinds of guns.:(

For the $300 you're gonna spend on those you can get used Imps that perform far better...
sorry though, they don't come in MP-5 or M-4 style. :|

They have those tactical autocockers too. Those are nice if youre into that kinda stuff. But its what ever floats your boat. Im not gonna judge.

A-5. I have played with an aromtech waste of money and the heavy. It is basicly like holding concerte that shoots 1 shoot ever 4 mins.

Ya I've heard great arguments for both.........both are said to be build durable and solid. I've heard that both are great performance markers in the bush. If you take a look at the reviews on this site, there's nothing but good reviews for both. I definately want like the M-16 look but I also want a marker that can perform, according to the reviews I've read it performs great, but so far a lot of players on here have said it's lame and that the A5 performs way better.

Have to agree there. The 98 custom is around 100 dollars cheaper than the A-5, and with the money you saved you can get a nice loader and barrel and still somewhat keep the milsim look.

WGP VF Tactical or AGD Tac One would be better.

if you want the best mil-sim gun you can get def go for the tac-one. the vf tactical is nice but for wat you pay for they dont give u much. the tac one has the lvl10 which means no chops, it is built like a rock, has a built in reg, not much ups you need to do to it besides the ult trigger pull kit, barrel which means you can save up for more stuff like gear or sights and stuff.
if you cant spring the caah for it id go for a a-5 but the tac one is way better and worth the little extra time it takes to save up for it.

Ignore his post. There could be several reasons he posted this-
#1- He was extremely drunk
#2 - He was extremely stoned
#3 - He wanted you to make the worst decision possible

But its got all the optic stuff on it :o . And the noobs will be hiding in fear. If they see an A5 they go "Oh, an A5, thats awesome!", but if they see a gun that looks like a real firearm they'll piss thier pants.

i like cockers but for wat u get for $600 its a rip off. u get ok pnematics(i think i spelled that right) a matte finish, and a cover for the pnematics that u can put a light on. there are so many ups still to do for the vf tactical that its not worth it compared to the tac-one.

I would have to go with the 98c. If you want the milsim look, you can always get a stock and an M-16 barrel. They are all-around good markers, and thats why most places use 98's as rentals as opposed to WG-65's.
