Um, all good questions....but did you read any other threads first?

I don't own a pimp, but from my research it's down to either a pimp or a dye matrix.

Pimp supposed to have more kick, slightly...

Equally fast (so far, pimp may become more so), equally accurate, equal cost.....

Matrix more common, has been around a while, supposedly very reliable IF the parts are kept well-lubed...if not, there will be trouble. (Sounds like every other gun to me.)

Pimp is new, relatively untested, but it is a heavily modified impulse, which are reliable guns...

Matrix more upgradeable as of now...

AND given that a matrix is available used for cheaper right now, matrix is probably the way to go.

Sophisticated machine at a "reasonable" price=hard to beat

Also,

the eyes work great, just not with dark paint

Think it's high pressure? Not sure...

Uncapped rate off fire, should be able to do 20bps out of the box, as fast as your fingers can take you and your hopper can keep up.

As far as what I like about it, it's way better looking than the matrix. With this gun, I'll be "pimping"! (sorry, I had to...)

Haven't seen a direct comparison of performance, though I would like too. Anyone else wanna help him out?

Fast
Break Beam Eye

Dislikes:
Breaking in period ( +/- 5000 shots )
Only one LED, all adjustments are reflected of one led ( red/green and orange )
um ...

2) Its a low pressure system, running no higher than 400 psi
through the detonator reg, the lpr takes that down to around 110 - 150 psi.

3) Since its trigger is uncapped, you can fire it as fast as you can pull the trigger and feed paint, in other words ... it rips

4)Its a Break Beam, meaning a beam runs between the two eyes, so no matter what colour the ball, if the beam is broken the marker will fire, it works 110% all the time ...

6) Would I recommend it ... YES YES YES and YES ...

7) Kick ? Compared to what ? A mule ... no. Compared to an angel or autococker about the same, depending how you set it up. Compared to a standard Spyder clone blowback ... not a comparison, since the blowback is all kick by comparison.

Basically, when I saw it I liked it, got it running and have not looked back, I have tried a number of DM4's and a whole number of Angels, and well this thing keeps up with them on pretty much every respect. I am still getting the marker to its sweet spot, but as it wears in its becoming less and less of a gas hog.
Its is really fast, and have never had a ball chop ...
If you a guy who likes to tweak his marker till its just so ... then this is the marker for you, with adjustments and setting for every step of the firing proccess.

Anything else ?
