Creeper

Please tell me whether these plans need improvements or corrections. I plan to make this tank within the next few months, I'll post pics as it goes along.

Preparation:
This is the base of the tank. The turret will go on top of the hole. Try purchasing the van from a police auction for cheap.
1 CONSTRUCTION VAN with or without windows
1. Strip interior of construction van except two front seats.
2. Cut a circular hole with a 3ft diameter towards the center of the back portion.
Turret:
The turret will consist of a pneumatic air cannon. It will be mounted on a top turret, moved and operated
by the gunner.
14' 1" PVC PIPE
1 PIECE OF PLYWOOD WITH 3' DIAMETER
8 2x4 PIECES OF METAL
2 RINGS OF 1.5" PVC PIPE WITH 3' DIAMETER
8 FT OF SOFT MESH NETTING, 2'4" (or more) WIDTH
1. Cut 14' of pipe into 7 equal 2' sections.
2. Wield pieces of 1" pipe onto a ring at locations indicated on diagram "Turret" with black circles.
3. Place top ring on, and wield.
4. Wrap mesh netting where the dark black line is on "Turret" diagram.
5. Screw in place, careful not to keep the net too taut. Place it so it does not sag. Wrap excess edges over
and tuck.
6. Place plywood on, screw down to ring.
7. Place turret ontop of the 3' hole in the van.
8. Wield in the metal strips (vertically) onto the van roof in order to keep the PVC from sliding around,
equally spaced apart.
Barrel of Cannon:
This is about how to make a simple breech loaded barrel, see "Cannon" diagram (Breech insert) for
picture.
1. For barrel, take a 3' section of 1.5" PVC.
2. Starting at one end, saw down 8" down the middle of the PVC.
3. Saw off the section at the end of the 8", and then saw off another section of 3" from that separated
piece.
4. Glue back on the 3" piece to the end of the barrel, so there is a 5" space missing from the glued end
after the glued on 3" piece.
5. Place four STRONG rubber bands after the sawed section.
5. This is the loader. The middle removable piece is taken off to load. It must them be placed back on
for firing. The four rubber bands must be placed over the removable piece to secure it while firing.
Cannon:
The cannon is fairly easy to assemble. It is used for intimidation and to take out other vehicles.
1. Assemble the pieces as shown in diagram "Cannon."
2. Prime and glue them together, except the gauge to the valve. You will need to drill a hole in the end
cap for the tire valve to fit in.
(Note: You may with to place the ball valve sideways for easier firing. Assemble the turret first and check
for placement. You can also alter the length of the 1" piece between the valve and elbow. Make it
comfortable for a fast valve pull.)
Attaching the Cannon:
This creates an immovable cannon, very intimidating.
1. Place the cannon on the corner of one side of the turret without the netting. It should be between a
vertical piece and the bottom ring. For righties, make the clear space on the right side of the cannon. For
lefties, make it on the left side. This will be where the arm that pulls the valve pokes through.
2. Wield into place.
3. See diagram "Attachment." If X is the measurement from the outside of the turret to the end of the
van, subtract a few inches, and mark that length on your barrel. Glue a rotational wheel (like those found
on a computer chair) there. This will allow the cannon to rotate.
Spare Air Cannon:
This will allow deployment of anti-tank weapons without having to carry them manually. Also may help
for assault on multiple carriers. Can be used by inside crew.
1. Cut and assemble pieces according to diagram "Spare Cannon."
2. Prime and glue pieces together.
Cannon Ammo:
1. Use the cardboard toilet paper roll insides as a casing.
2. Tape on a circle of cardboard to fit over one end.
3. Cut each cylinder down the middle, not cutting the sealed end.
4. Fill casing with paintballs.
Readying the Cannon:
1. Use hand pump or automatic inflater to increase pressure in pressure chamber to 120 PSI.
2. Move aside rubber bands, open breech, and load in casing with ammo.
3. Close breech, and replace rubber bands.
Firing the Cannon:
1. Turn turret by grabbing vertical pieces and moving, be careful to not lift.
2. Quickly open the globe valve.
Mounting a Gun (vertical tank or foregrip):
This mount uses the tank as a pivot, and is only useful on guns without a bottomline or with a vertical
adapter. A foregrip may also be used instead of a bottle.
1. Use a 20 oz CO2 tank or large HPA bottle.
2. Measure out diameter.
3. Choose diameter of PVC pipe about 2" larger than the diameter.
4. Cut a length to desired height.
5. Mount the bottom of the pipe to the floor. Place the tank inside the pipe. Swivel and pivot to aim.
Created a Large Capacity Hopper for Mounted Gun
You can create a large capacity hopper that can fire at extreme speeds for an extended amount of time.
With a 114 ci 4500 PSI tank and 2000 balls, you can fire 12 bps for well over two minutes. Your air will
run out first, so there is little need for a tub larger than 2000 balls.
(Refer to "Hopper" diagram for assembly outline)
1. Get plastic tub of desired size.
2. Cut a 1" hole somewhere in the bottom.
3. Cut a door with the bottom uncut plastic as the hinge on the narrow side where you can refill it.
4. Attack a nylon elastic cord to keep the door closed, remove for refilling.
5. Attach 1" tubing to the hole in the bottom with tape.
6. Get a motorized hopper and cut a 1" hole on the side opposite the lid.
7. Attach tubing to hopper with tape.
Interior Finishes:
Get a big cooler to resupply refreshments to your men on the frontlines if needed.
Make room for storage of paintballs, your extra air cannon, and perhaps a filling station if allowed.
Put in some benches for troops to sit during transport.
Mount a low velocity sidearm in the rear and in the front for enemies trying to destroy the tank with a
satchel charge.
Knock out the windows and replace with netting hung only from the top. This will stop paintballs and
allow firing outside of netting is moved aside.
Make sure to have some radios and any items (maps, satchel charges, other weapons, props, etc.) your
team may need.
Grenades make excellent protection items.
Exterior Finishes:
Paint and decorate as desired.
Make sure windshield wipers are working with wiper fluid.
You may wish to take off the door on either the back or side and mount a gun there.
