after weeks and weeks of researching i have norrowed down what my first gun will be to 2 they are the spyder imagine and the icon e which do you guys think is better

They're almost the same thing, but you can find the Spyder Imagine for an awsome price. Look around the b/s/t forums.

The imagine would be your best bet. I hate the drop that comes w/ the icon.

get an imagine..... u can find more upgrades thatll go with it because its the most comin "starter" spyder

An imagine can take as many upgrades as a xtra, victor, e99, electra, etc...

thats true but some upgrades will NOT go on the icon e its not a spyder.... its a spyder clone

Definately the spyder. A much better gun, not as cheap feeling as an icon. Plus they are much more reliable(bad experience with icons trust me)

i have the same problem but this thread has not helped me. please note i want to play in tournaments so it needs a lock.

They will perform pretty close to the same. I'd say get whichever one you can find cheaper.

Yes. And buy the Imagine. Kingman has been doing paintball guns for HOW long? I'd trust Kingman before I'd trust whoever the heck puts out the Icon-E. Think of it as having a choice between buying an RCA television, or a knockoff brand of the same screen size. You're gonna buy the RCA, especially when it's a cheaper price most of the time.
