Well I think next year i'll be getting a Tippmann A-5 w/ a Flatline barrel. Because i'm kinda stick of hiding/moving in the woods and then you can easily see a huge glare off my whole gun. (Imagine) Now I hear the Flatline is really hard on paintballs and it makes them curve upwards, but can't I just get use to that and shoot a little lower? I'm open to any ideas and comments.

my good friend has an a-5 with a flatline / e-grip .. it won't curve if u use the right paint ... i don't understand why the a-5 flatline seems to be more accurate than the 98 .. he goes full auto and it goes dam straight .. most of the times when your in the woods you can't shoot in a straight line for more than 50-75 feet )where i live( and the ball looks like its floating but sometimes when i shoot it , it curved up like when it hit 100 feet

If you don't like the look of your marker paint get it annodized black. It will be much cheaper than buying a new marker.

You should think about buying out of the Blowback seen get your self a nice electro such as BkO, used imp , cocker and so on.

Lies all lies. It is just another form a venturi bolt which does nothing for range.

To get more range in a pb gun, you'd have to buy a flatline.

A-5 with flatline, E-grip, HPA, Venturi bolt, remote. This is the best set-up I have seen in the woods. Very durable, very reliable, not very expensive. All of those items are worth the money you will pay for them.

A yea they don;t make venturi bolts for A-5's. And even if they did a Venturi bolt only hurts your performance.

$500 dollars for that setup. You can get a Ule mag for about that price and it will blow the A-5 out of the water.
Flatline barrel is not worth the money and where i play in the woods you can;t get a straight shot of more than 50ft without hitting a branch.

Keep you spyder. I am telling in the long run you will thank me.
Unlike people here i have a A-5 listen to me. :blah:

If you really want a new marker.

Good Woods marker.
