Hello I got a BKO today gassed it up dry fired it a few times and it was fine...now it wont fire I have changed the battery several times when I poull the trigger the led does not flash.
Took the bolt out that piston thing seems to stuck forward it will not move back at all..I have no Idea where to go from here and I thought I would ask before I take the gun apart.
I looked through the other post but I dont know wht to call the piston thing so that did not help me anyone that may have an idea please let me know thanks

The piston thing?!?!?! Is that the piece that the bolt connects to in the bottom of the marker. If it is this is called the ram. If your ram is stuck forward you probably swelled your oring and it is wedge between the ram piston and the ram housing causing it to stick forward.
If this isnt what you are talking about then I am not sure what to tell you. Get us a pic of a better discription of what the part looks like and we can probably help you out.

Also, your ram screws, located on both sides of the gun towards the rear, could be overly tight. I have seen this cause the ram to not return.

And about the led try screwing in the top screw on the top or your trigger a bit more. For info on dissasembling try looking at www.icd-owners.com in the icdu section i believe theres something in there

Actualy I think the problem has been found there is one of the leads on the chaos board missing, where the wireing harness plugs in at in fact I would bet money on it thats the problem it's broken clean off the board

I will bet that this isnt the problem. The board has one pin removed. This helps polarize the wiring harness so you can get it plugged in correctly. The pin has no function so it is removed.
I still think you have one of two things wrong.
Either a oring on the ram piston has come off wedging the ram forward or the screws that hold the ram assembly in place are to tight and not allowing the ram to recock.

well thats cool did not know that..umm well the situation is that when you pull the trigger nothing happens at all the board boots up fine but there is not clicking or anything I cna see the trigger making contact with the micro switch but there is nothing going from the switch at all unless I am missing something

This was my BKO. It was in my hands 24 hours ago and I just overnighted it to him.
When he pulls the trigger the led light doesnt blink, but the board boots up because the chaos blinks once.
The solenoid wires are fine, I spoke with him over the phone and we have checked to make sure that the trigger screws are adjusted right.
He was ripping on the gun and then it stopped firing. This leads me to believe that something may have happened to the microswitch, because if the solenoid wires were loose then the solenoid wouldnt fire, but the led would still blink. It has to be a microswitch problem.
I asked him to PM you about a microswitch. I will pay for the switch, just send it to him please.

Probably the adjustment at the trigger. Try screwing in the switch trip point, or screwing out the back stop.

Impya, do you understand what he means by the piston being stuck forward???
This is what I was talking about earlier. If the piston is stuck forward there are three basic things that will cause that.
1) The oring from the piston coming off and lodging in between the piston and the ram housing.
2) Ram housing screws to tight causing the piston to bind.
3) Solenoid bad putting constant pressure on ram assembly.
The third problem can sometimes be cured simply by pressure the manual test button on the solenoid. Should a small piece of debrit of something in the air system get inside of the noid it can lodge it foward and not allow it to recock the marker. By using the manual cycle button on the noid you can get the noid to reset and the marker will start to cycle again.
By the way no PM at this point to me :)

Yeah, i know exactly what your talking about. I serviced the gun myself before I even sent it to him and it was firing fine. I know the screws arent to tight and if the oring broke after a couple shots then it must be freak accident.
I just want to get his gun to fire first, then I will take the other problems as they come :).
