Hi

I have decided to purchase a paintball gun. I am just wondering though, I have the JT Spectra 260 mask on the way, and I am wondering what everyone thinks about it. I am most concerned with protection, since the only place I am truely afraid of getting hit in is the face, mainly the eyes, but also the neck/throat area. Has anyone ever had a Spectra break on them? Or any problems whatsoever? Thanks!

Oh yeah, I got a TL+, a 20OZ tank, and just a regular loader

IMHO opinion Spectra's are the best masks. Very comfy, very light, great protection, and awesome visibility. Make sure you get a thermal lens though. Also, I don't think I've ever seen a broken Spectra before....

Don't flame, I know some of the other masks are probably a little better, but the Spectra is near perfection already, and a lot cheaper.

I may get laughed at for this, but...I own a Brass Eagle Maxx Vision mask, and I absolutely love it.

I think my mother-in-law got it from WalMart or something, so I doubt it's got a thermal lens, but I've had little fogging problems. It's got hinged throat armor on it as well, and GREAT peripheral vision due to a large lens.

Another company makes it I'm sure, but I'm not sure who...

I used to have a maxx vision mask as well, alright for about 3 months then it buggered up! They do have thermal lenses except it peels off, the foam will - and i repeat will come off, the only good things about that mask is that its cheap, had good vision and throat protection. The dissembly of the lense is nice as well.

If only they made to better quality....... sorry this is BE aint it?
