Ok I tried doing the valve spring mod and being the retard I am replaced the wrong spring instead replacing the one in the LPR. I gas it up and hear a small pop. After realizing I replaced the wrong thing I put the stock one back in. So I gas it up and shoot slowly its fine. Then I walk the trigger and a leak comes from the noid area. Turning down the lpr does nothing. The only way to make it stop is to turn the HPR down to like 100 psi. I dont know what happened please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you replaced the LPR spring with a valve spring then I can definately see how you might have problems. I'm thinking, maybe your noid got overpressurized? not really sure on this one.

But regardless, the first thing you should do is check out your solenoid gasket just to make sure its fine.

Check your gasket.

If it is fine, you may have blown your noid.

No, the gasket is located between the solenoid and the ram. Its a small piece of rubber with holes in it.

the solenoid is the box thing with the 2 wires going into it and the blue hose going into it. Unscrew the screws that hold it to the ram assembly and you will see the gasket, it is directly between the solenoid and the ram. here's a BKO breakdown, look at the last several pics and you will see the noid. http://www.pleeairsmith.com/Tech/Mods/bkodis.htm

Ok I found the gasket how do I know if I blew it? And also I didnt replace the lpr spring with a valve spring I cut an ace hardware spring to the same size.

You dont want to replace the LPR spring. Put the stock spring back in.

Make sure there arent any tares or cracks in the gasket.

What most people dont understand is the LP Spring mod wont achieve much if anything in a BKO because of the cocking spring in the ram. If you are going to replace the valve spring you would have to replace the ram spring as well to achieve any kind of major change in your LPR pressure.

By the way dont think about changing the ram spring unless you have access to a machine shop that can custom make springs for you. I have looked at almost every hardware store I have walked into over the last year looking for a different spring to replace the stock ram spring and I havent found anything close at this point.

What if you can't even push past your valve with one thumb with the stock spring (while the marker ISN'T gassed up).

Replacing that with a spring you can hardly feel has to do something. Honestly.

Or not?

Edit: Be sure to check your PMs as well. Thnx :D
