All right everyone seems to have scattered questions and answers about going LP so i figured we oughtta make a Thread JUST for stuff about LP.

What I Know

Ive got intermediate knowledge of the workings of LP so ill list what i know.

Things you need
1. Absolutely need a turbo valve. Going Low pressure is not to see how low you can operate on but on how efficiently you can run. The object is to launch a projectile at x speed. You want Less Blunt pressure on the ball there fore you open the valve longer at a lower psi. However if it is open to long the force will be to weak and will not hit the ball with enough force and youll no longer have a gun but a slug. Turbo valves have larger chambers for better air flow.

2. New Bolt, The AKA lightning bolt and the shocktech bolt are very good. Both are made for better flow rates.

3. Regualtor. there are many regulators out there. For c02 the best has to be the Palmers Stabalizer. I my-self have an ANs Gen x and it is pretty good. I should have learned more before i bought it though. The Black-Ice is also a decent Reg. For Nitro the Vigilante (sp?) is top of the line. Any pro will agree. WARNING: DO NOT USE THE VIGILANTE WITH CO2, IF YOU DO YOUR GUN WILL FILL WITH LIQUID C02 AND HAVE UNFORTUANATE OUTCOMES

4. Lightened valve spring. Sure helped me out :)

Theres alot more stuff alot there that includes drilling and more complicated proccesed that im kinda shaky on so ill leave that up to the guru's. (you know who you are). As to my info i THINK most of its right but its all from personal experience so if theres somethin drastically wrong please correct me.

What I DONT know (and need help on)

First my position.
Piranha G1 VTL
ANs Gen x reg
lightened valve spring
high velocity spring (does this matter with the light vlave spring?)

Thas about it, no LP chamber. Im gettin a new asa block soon. Right now i can shoot at around 400-500. Im not sure cause my guage is a bit wacky.

Right now my problem is this...
Right when i screw in my c02 my guage reads 420, now after it sits about 30 minutes it around 300 and when i fire it burps and get back up to 420. Is there anyway i can stop this urping. SOMETIMEs it even goes full auto.

Anyway this is just my pithy knowledge/problems. post any Low pressure questions or knowledge you have here and it will be appreciated by all

you need your asa adapter drilled, and you want a barell with probably at least 6 inches of unported barell to allow for that smooth operation
