By now you will no doubt have seen my spam in the general PB forum. They have been placed their for maximum visibility and carefully chosen so that they will casue the most effect upon the pre-teen pbreview membership.
I am doing this in protest of how I was treated by two members of the PBreview staff: amzng_spyderman and Killer Kat. Both behaved in a very unprofessional manner when I began posting to this site last week. I was accused of being a formerly banned member and thus banned out of hand. I am not this person and a simple comparison of logged IP addresses should show this. In any event, both moderators were extremly rude and unproffessional bordering on childish. When I tried to make a new account and attampted to discuss this issue I banned out of hand and once again abused. I realise that both are probably unpaid vollenteers, but one should expect a certain amount of proffesionalism in a forum's moderator staff.
I'm not asking to be let beack in. what I have done tonight probably precludes that. However I am a man of honor and demand both of these individuals to apologize in this thread and admit that I am not the former memebr they think I am and that they over reacted.
before you make a hasty decision consider the folowing points:
-there are times at which no moderator is on these forums. happily my work schedule means that I am often up during these hours.
-Account bans are pointless due to the ease in which new accounts can be made. Ip blocks are also counterproductive. they are easily bypassed using proxy servers and dial up connections. also due to the way they work, they often victimize inoccent members in the same geographical region as the intended banee.
-Complaining to ISPs rarely work either. Most large ISPs are loath to loose a paying customer and will rarely take action unless a serious crime has taken place. There are no internet trespassing laws and the images I linked to are all legal if very unpleasant. In the unlikely event that you could get my ISP to drop me, you would in effect be doing me a favor as getting a new ISP is a simply matter. They are a dime a dozen and a new IP will make me even harder to trace.
I look foreward to hearing from both of these guys very soon.

So you're protesting by messing up the forums in hopes of doing what exactly? It takes me less than three seconds to delete all of your posts and to ban you. Your threats don't mean anything. You do something rash and stupid like spoiled child's cry for attention, and then you expect to be taken seriously and be talked to and listened to like an adult? Twelve year old kids spam up forums, you're no different from them. Too bad I bet you really thought your little scene would create shock and awe, but instead your little "protest" amounted to nothing.
I remember you. Yes there are ways of circumventing the system and disguising your IP, but you can't hide your writing style any more than you can hide that self-serving holier-than-thou-pompus attitude of yours. You're the guy who posted that picture of a soldier getting his throat slit, the similarities of your IP's only reinforce what I already know.
And, if you look back one year to October 28, 2003 the same reasons I yelled at you for last year still apply today:

Your approach to the situation is all wrong. We have rules for a reason, one of those rules being that banned members are not allowed back. Yet you chose to ignore that rule and come back on another account. For someone asking to be allowed back because they say they have amended their way and are willing to follow the rules, does that seem hypocritical to you at all?
You could have easily e-mailed any mod or admin and gotten your point across just as well. I know I would have been more than willing to hear your case. But instead you chose to make not one, but two threads and two accounts in open defiance of the mods, admin and the rules, even after one of your threads were closed and your account was disabled.
In fact this wasn't even the first time you've done this. Do any of these four accounts look familiar? You keep making new ones even after you're banned:
Trench Raider (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=38976)
Pretty Boy Floy (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=40667)
Strosstrupe (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=40035)
Terrible Trench (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=52463)
Learn to take responsibility for your actions. You're the one who chose to post that picture. You made a conscious decision to post it, it didn't happen by accident. All the rest of our 50,000+ non-banned members had enough self restraint and common sense not to post pictures like that on a G-rated site. This is why they are still members, and you are banned. You chose to make five more accounts, no one made you do that. And you chose to make these threads which will result in you being banned.
To be honest Trench Raider, I was actually trying to get your account reinstated back in June shorty after you were banned, but before I saw your gif. You're a smart guy and probably would be able to contribute to the forums, but as you've proven today, you seem to think you're some how above the rules. But that is clearly not the case.
You got exactly what you deserve, and everyone else knows it but you. It's that egocentric attitude of yours that makes you think otherwise, funny thing is, you're the only one agreeing with yourself. You're a smart guy; you and I both know that. If you wanted to do harm to PBR, you probably could in small doses for a little while. And then a mod would find it, clean it up like picking up after an animal that can't be toilet trained and everything would go back to normal.
Truth be told, guys like you make my job easier. You come back, cause a little trouble and rant, I rip into you and ban you and everything is good. This reinforces my control over the forums and all the rest of the members stay in line. If you keep coming back and posting, the members pick up on it and they develop a nice "us against you" mentality, which is really good for unity and morale because people love having a bad guy to hate, and you're it. Being able to participate productively in society is just as important if not more so than just being smart. As far as PBR is concerned, you've shown you are completely incapable of being a social human being, and thus will be banned accordingly.

you were not mistreated and you were not falsely accused. you are, indeed, the same man that has caused our staff so much trouble since your original banishment for posting a graphic .gif file of a soldier getting his throat cut.

it became crystal clear that you are lying about not knowing of trench raider. you posted a link to an ebay auction, a rainmaker (http://www.pbreview.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=263454), as Johnny Wadd. you don't know what a "trench raider" is, and yet, that is the name of your ebay account, as shown here:

you tried to deceive me and the rest of the staff, and you have failed, bested by a 17 year old. it's about time you just gave up and get on with your life.

Dude, seriously, give up. It's just and internet forum, stop making (more of) a fool of yourself.

The only apology that I will make is to the tens of thousands of members that make my tasks here enjoyable.
I'm sorry I wasted my limited and valuable time on individuals such as yourself (and any of your other worthless entities) when there are others whom deserve my attention and help. I'm truely sorry you found this site and choose to apply for membership.
I do realize that people (believe it or not, I'm a people too!) can and do make mistakes. We (moderators) will warn members when they break rules that were agreed to prior to membership. Most times this is all it takes to "remind" good members. Depending on the occurance of the offence and in some extreme cases the severity these mistakes are reason for banishment. Normally if the member felt this banning was uncalled for, they would e-mail Andrew or a staff member and explain the situation. Andrew along with the rest of the PBR staff are more than willing to review these mistakes and even forgive people for "a mistake" that we or they might have made.
I would like the site to hear me loud and crystal clear. This is not what happened here!
You started off on a bad foot with your choice of a screen name. This is a "G" rated paintball site not a shrine for dead aid spreading porn stars.
You repeatedly took multiple (instant reason for permanent banishment) accounts.
You chose to use a forum to plead your case rather then in a e-mail.
One of the tasks I take pride in is keeping this place informative, fun, safe, and clean for the thousands here who follow the rules. Sometimes that means taking the trash out to the curb. That's why we are here... and you are not.

Are you threatening to hack this site? Don't you dare mess with PBR, and especially me.
My computer knowledge is most likely beyond your comprehension, and if you dare to do anything, you will live to regret it. For example, if "someone" were to accidentally slip me your IP:

Due to the request of a moderator, this portion of my post has been edited as of 10/21/04. But, to paraphrase what I said, in non-specific and non-threatening terms, let's just say that you won't be able to cause harm or annoyance to any of my fellow PBR members, should you persist in your bigotry.
If anyone would like the original text of this message, feel free to PM me.
-----------
There are many wonderful things that can be found out and/or done with an IP address, and many services/records that can be altered using said information. Sadly, I have experience in this area, and am trying to get over my past. But I will make your life absolutely horrible should you try anything.
You can take my word on that.
And if you don't believe me... just ask Chill_Bebop. He knows all about it. :|
Leave, and never come back, Wadd. At first, I was on your side, but now that you've threatened PBR, it's just you and me, bud.
Just you and me. Remember that.

Um, you have a strange problem with PBR if you're threatening to committ... um, around a dozen felonies [if my memory serves me correctly] because of one idle threat from one burnout old man.

That's assuming they could track me. Then again... Andrew would most likely turn me over, as would I if I were in his position.
I'd still do it, though.
PBR is literally most of my life. When I'm not actually paintballing or doing other computer-related stuff, that is.

Tracked or not, it's still a felony. Not to mention you just might've comitted conspiracy to comitt.. if it exists.
And hey, I bet you aren't posting thru a proxy, so that's your real IP that was logged :)

Like I said, I really don't care.
This guy has really pissed me off.
Although, it's easy for anyone to talk crap over the 'net.
I suppose you're right.
