I really hope the price tag isn't outrageous, seeing as how for looks it really doesn't differe from a DM4, maybe there's something internally that's much better, I doubt it however.

well, i've always been a fan of the matrix before the DM4, all the ones preceding it. don't know why though, just think they look cool. expecially the non-gloss.

No its not a proto.

And as others have stated, I doubt that it will be much better than a DM4. Personally I think Dye mabe rushed to get the DM5 out because the DM4 was so popular and they want as much money as they can get.

Hopefully I'm wrong when I say that though. I'm hopeing for the efficiency to be much better with the price tag of the DM4's when they came out.

Yeah thats what im afraid of.

I think it looks better then the DM4. Hopefully it includes some sort of Dye equivalent of an Image, or Evolve bolt kit, so you don't have to be filling from 500psi after every game.

I'm just thinking of this as a different milled dm4, with not that many upgrades.

It's kinda nice that they did this , hopefully like tonty said, it won't cost that much more. Maybe 1250. Then dye could start releasing different models with different millings like Intimidators.
